Xal's Routes Data - Changelog

1.1.0 - September 12, 2026

Been tinkering with how the whole suite looks lately, trying to give everything a cleaner, more cohesive feel - so this one's a style pass: swapped the old bronze-gold for a deep indigo-and-orange look that's becoming the new standard across all my addons. Caught a couple of bugs along the way too (hey, I'm only human) - one where the What's New splash's text was overlapping itself. Fixed both. Kept farming while I was at it, so there's a bigger data pack too. Thanks for being part of the Xal family - hope you like the new look.

• Data pack refreshed - 1,033 pre-collected gathering nodes across 29 zones, up from 936 across 22.

🎨 Changed

• New look: deep indigo background, burnt-orange accent - matches the rest of the Xal's addons now.

🔧 Fixed

• The What's New splash's text overlapping itself.
• The settings window and splash could land on top of another addon's window - now they remember where you last put them.

1.0.1 - August 31, 2026

Kept farming after 1.0.0 went out, so the data pack's bigger already - 936 nodes now across 22 zones, up from the original 770 across 19. Also cleaned up the visual style to match the rest of the family properly. Thanks for being part of the Xal family - hope the bigger pack helps.

Had someone in Discord lose their whole node collection to a client crash - no fault of the addon, WoW just doesn't let anything force a save mid-session - and it got me thinking there should be a fallback. So this is that: a data pack of nodes I've already farmed out myself, ready to drop straight into your own Routes database in one click, no rebuilding from scratch required. Thanks for being part of the Xal family - hope it saves you some legwork.
