🎯 Our Goal

To be able to play the game 100% in Turkish, from start to finish. We have translated the vast majority of the text you see in game so far, but WoW is a huge game and every patch adds new text.

✨ What is translated?

📊 The translation consists of more than half a million strings.

🖋️ Translation style

• Names of players, classes, races, NPCs, zones and factions stay in their original (English) form, so you can still recognize the names you see in game.
• Common terms use consistent Turkish equivalents (Guild, Dungeon, Auction House, Achievement, Mythic, Arcane, Renown, Warband, etc.).
• Texts are translated into natural, fluent Turkish based on their in-game context.

📥 Installation

⭐ Recommended: Installer (automatic updates)

Just download and run WoWTurkce-Kurulum.exe from the GitHub page: 👉 https://github.com/M0SAD/WoWTurkce

• 🔎 It finds your WoW folders (_retail_, _classic_era_, _forever_) by itself and installs the addon to all of them.
• 🔄 It updates the addon files automatically when a new version is released. You don't have to do anything.
• 🪟 It starts with Windows and runs quietly in the system tray.
• ℹ️ The addon version is shown in the file's Properties → Details tab.

ℹ️ Windows may show an "unknown publisher" warning; this is normal because the program is unsigned. The program only downloads the addon files from the GitHub repository and writes them to your WoW folders.

If you install the addon through the CurseForge app, updates also come through the app.

📦 Manual installation (ZIP)

1. Download the ZIP file from this page.
2. Copy the WoWTurkce folder inside it to the matching Interface\AddOns\ folder:

1. Start the game and on the character selection screen make sure WoWTürkçe is enabled under AddOns.

⚠️ Manual ZIP installation has no automatic updates; for new versions you need to download the file again and copy it to the same place.

🐞 Did you see something in English?

If you come across text that is still in English, don't worry, that's perfectly normal; let us know and it will be translated in the next version:

1. 📸 Take a screenshot of the text (make sure your character name and personal information are not visible).
2. 📍 Briefly say where you saw it: which game version, which window, which quest, NPC or item.
3. 📨 Post it in the comments of this page or in the Issues section of the GitHub page.

💡 If you turn on the installer's optional background monitoring feature, the codes of game texts that are missing a translation are collected when you leave the game and, if you wish, sent automatically. Chat and personal data are never included in these codes; you can turn sending off.

❓ FAQ

Will it break when the game updates? New content added by a patch may appear in English; translations are added with new versions.

What if I want to remove it? Delete the Interface\AddOns\WoWTurkce folder (if you use the installer, quit it from the tray and uninstall it).

Oyunu baştan sona %100 Türkçe oynayabilmek. Şimdiye kadar oyunda gördüğün yazıların büyük çoğunluğunu çevirdik; ama WoW çok büyük bir oyun ve her yamayla yeni metinler ekleniyor.

• Oyuncu, sınıf, ırk, NPC, bölge ve fraksiyon adları orijinal (İngilizce) kalır; yani oyundaki isimleri tanımakta zorlanmazsın.
• Genel terimler tutarlı Türkçe karşılıklarla kullanılır (Lonca, Zindan, Müzayede Evi, Başarım, Mitik, Arkan, Ün, Savaş Grubu vb.).
• Metinler oyun içi bağlama göre, doğal ve akıcı Türkçe ile çevrilir.

2. 📍 Nerede gördüğünü kısaca yaz: hangi oyun sürümü, hangi pencere, hangi görev, NPC veya eşya.
3. 📨 Bu sayfanın yorumlarına ya da GitHub sayfasındaki Issues bölümüne gönder.

💡 Kurulum programının isteğe bağlı arka plan izleme özelliğini açarsan, oyundan çıkınca çevirisi eksik oyun metinlerinin kodları toplanır ve istersen otomatik gönderilir. Sohbet ve kişisel veri bu kodlara girmez; göndermeyi kapatabilirsin.
