Wowkemon Classic

A retro themed mini game that delivers a form of Pet Battle system to classic WoW!

Capture over 150 unique "Wowkemon" as you travel around Azeroth using Capture Cubes acquired from Mail boxes and completing trainer quests.

Over 100 wowkemon could spawn at any outdoor location in classic WoW with many more that only have a chance to appear in specific sub-zones.

How to Play

Every step you take in WoW :Classic offers a chance for a wild Wowkemon to appear. 

The more steps you take the higher your chance of an encounter! Your movement speed directly affects your steps taken, so get some speed to increase your encounter frequency! (Mounts included, Taxi's excluded).

Keep an eye on your Mini-CraftBoy for alerts

A flashing red background with a "!" symbol means you've encountered a Wild Wowkemon and can attempt to capture it! Click the mini screen to start the event. A flashing Blue Background with a "?" means you've received a message, click to read it and potentially receive rewards!

Interact with the game world to trigger events or receive rewards

Mailboxes in each outdoor zone reward items once a day!  Speak to innkeepers in most zones to receive one of two quest types.

Track your progress using the Wowkedex in the CraftBoy

An entry is added to your wowkedex every time you capture a new, unique wowkemon. Each entry will track the number of times you've caught this wowkemon, the highest level you've caught and the total amount of Candy you've stockpiled for this Wowkemon.  Candy can be spent to upgrade your Wowkemons abilities in PvP Battles*

* Challenge Others to battles! (Alpha)

Challenge party members that have the same version of the addon to a Wowkemon battle! Note: This Feature is currently in development.  Foundational battle systems have been implemented, though bugs are likely to occur!

About Instances

For the sake of not causing distractions in dungeons or raids; wowkemon will not spawn while in an instance, nor will any of your steps taken contribute to the encounter chance.
