Forever Duels

Forever Duels keeps a permanent record of every duel you take part in, so you can see how you really match up against other players, class by class and rival by rival.

Duel someone, and when it ends the addon saves the result automatically. Open the window any time to browse your history, search it, and check your overall record.

What it records

For every duel:

• Both players: name, class, race and level
• Result: won, lost or draw, and whether it ended by knockout or someone fled
• When and where: date, time and zone, plus how long the duel lasted
• Damage and healing for both sides, with hits, crits and biggest hit
• Your spells: how many times you cast each one, and the damage or healing it did
• Opponent spells: where the game makes them available (see Limitations)

The window

Open it with /fduels or the minimap button. The window has two tabs.

Overview

• Win/loss record and win percentage
• Current and best win streaks
• Total and average damage dealt and taken, plus average duel length and DPS
• Your record against each class and each race
• Your most-dueled opponents
• Your most-used spells

History

• A sortable table of every duel (click any column header)
• A search box that matches names, classes, races, zones, spell names, "won" or "lost", and dates such as 2026-10
• Result filter (All, Won, Lost)
• Time range filter (All time, 30 days, 7 days, Today)
• Click a duel to see the full breakdown for both players, including each side's spells. You can also delete a duel from there.

Commands

• /fduels - open or close the window
• /fduels print - turn the chat message after each duel on or off
• /fduels minimap - show or hide the minimap button
• /fduels reset - delete all saved history (asks first)
• /fduels debug - print extra diagnostic messages, useful for bug reports

Limitations

Some game clients stop addons from reading the combat log. On those clients Forever Duels still records the result, opponent, class, race, level, zone and duration, and still gives you overall damage and healing totals. What you lose is the per-spell damage breakdown, and the opponent's spell list will be empty or partial (for example, only damage-over-time effects and buffs that are visible on the target). Your own spell casts are still tracked.

The opponent's level and class are read from your target, so they can be blank if you never target the person you are dueling.

Duel history is saved per account in the addon's saved variables. Nothing is sent anywhere.
