WoW Forever Diary 0.2.0
What's new
0.2.0
A bigger round on how the book reads and how you find your way around in it.
English
Finding your way
- The book now opens on Today: your figures so far, how the day began, what's new since you last read, and your next goals.
- 10 tabs instead of 17: Contents, Today, Diary, Quest book and one per group. A group's tab opens an overview of its parts, with what's new in each.
- Click a page number to jump to any page (right-click goes to the contents).
- Click the folded corner of a page to set a bookmark. It turns gold when the page is kept.
- The back button now sits next to the arrow that turns back. A "?" under the spyglass shows the introduction again.
- Wanted posters, portraits and catch cards have arrows to leaf to the next one. A click beside the card closes it.
- The search has a row of icons to show only days, people, creatures, quests, places, treasures or catches, and the word you searched for is marked.
- Parts with nothing in them yet are dimmed in the contents.
- You can skip the cover when you first open the book (settings).
Easier to read
- Small writing is a point larger and the faint ink is brighter.
- Long sentences are no longer written in capitals.
- Coffee rings and spots stay in the margins.
- The book no longer rearranges itself while the mouse is on it. What came in meanwhile shows up when you turn the page.
- Money in the diary text is written in words ("23 silver 47 copper").
- On the maps, kill sites are blue, so they stand out from the route.
- Honour bars fill in the colour of the metal you're heading for.
Less noise
- When several notes would pop up at once, you get one note that says how many new moments there are.
- The companion window is no longer on by default. The introduction offers it.
Wording
- Many texts reworded, especially in German: "Ehrungen" instead of "Ehren", "erlegt" throughout, no more pathos in the diary, German quotation marks.
Deutsch
Besser zurechtfinden
Was inzwischen dazukam, erscheint beim Umblättern.
Texte
- Viele Texte überarbeitet: „Ehrungen“ statt „Ehren“, durchgehend „erlegt“, kein Pathos mehr im Tagebuch, deutsche Anführungszeichen. Die Gruppe „Menschen & Haushalt“ heißt jetzt „Leute & Geld“.
