Share your WoW journey with friends

WoW Status keeps your group connected through in-game milestone announcements and a persistent activity log. Enter the same group ID as your friends to share progress while you play.

Getting started

1. Install WoW Status and restart the game.
2. Open Options → AddOns → WoW Status → Groups.
3. Add the same group ID as your friends.
4. Choose which announcements you want in the main settings page.
5. Click the minimap book or type /wstatus activity to open the activity log. Right-click the book to open settings.

Loot announcements

Rare, Epic and Legendary equipment can be enabled separately. Only equippable items in the Armor category qualify. Weapons, bags, materials and recipes are excluded.

History and sharing

Missing announcements can be recovered when another group member with a saved copy is online. Recovery covers eligible announcements from after you joined the group, up to seven days back and within the retained history.

Detailed personal equipment and profession activity stays private. Only eligible announcements are exchanged with group members.

Compatibility

This package targets WoW Classic Era / Vanilla Classic. Milestone availability depends on the game client and its supported events. Dungeon clear announcements require a supported completion signal.

The current release works inside WoW and requires no external companion application or Discord setup.

Development status

WoW Status is under active development. Live client compatibility and multiplayer behavior are still being validated. Please report issues with your game version, addon version and steps to reproduce the problem
