What's new

Settings is rebuilt as five pages of named cards, every switch reads On or Off, and one find box searches every page. A new Compare window sets up to four matches of one format side by side: Ctrl-click them in the history list. Rated matches show each team's MMR in the match list, the match window and each session's line, and the Stats cards such as Worst comp and Where I lose name only what you lose to at least as often as you beat.

New

  • History: each session line has an MMR column between RESULTS and MATCHES, showing your MMR at the end of the session and how far it moved. A session that did not move shows the MMR alone. On All, a session across several rated formats shows how many, such as 2 formats; hover it for one line per format: MMR in, MMR out, the change and the match count. A dash means the game gave no MMR for that session's rated matches. Hover the MMR heading for what the column shows.
  • Match list: rated arena shows the MMR column too, your team's MMR against the enemy team's, on matches recorded from this version.
  • Match window: a rated arena's team cards and team headers show each team's MMR, on matches recorded from this version.
  • History: Ctrl-click a match row, or right-click it and choose Compare, to pick up to four matches of one format. A picked row shows a gold check box, and a bar under the list shows how many with Clear and Compare.
  • Compare window: each picked match is a column set against the leftmost one, the base. Drag a match's card to the left edge to make it the base, or click its × to take it out.
  • Match list: rated Blitz, Solo Shuffle and All tabs show an MMR column after RATING, your team's MMR against the enemy team's, such as 1843 v 1910.
  • Match window: each team card and each team's roster header shows that team's MMR, and a Solo Shuffle's round cards show both sides' MMR for each round.
  • Settings: General's WINDOWS card has a switch, Close match and player windows with the main window, off to start. While it is on, closing the main window closes every match window and player window too. /pvph closeall on and /pvph closeall off do the same.
  • Chat: /pvph last <format> prints the newest match of a format in full, and /pvph <id> names both teams' MMR.
  • AddOns list: PvPHistory sits under a PvP heading.

Changed

  • Stats: Worst comp, What beats me and Where I lose name only a comp, spec or map you lose to at least as often as you beat, and Best teammate only a spec you win more with. Where nothing qualifies the card shows a dash.
  • Stats: a card no longer names a row from under the floor in faint gray. A card with nothing to name shows a dash, and resting the pointer on it says how many rounds or matches a row needs to be ranked.
  • Stats: Where I lose names a map you lose on even when it is the only map with enough matches.
  • Stats: with the graph folded, its line is headed by what shows under it, such as SPECS, MAPS, DETAILS or the lit card's title, and its dates are the range picked in the range menu, up to today.
  • Match window: the your team and their team key under the roster, and the Solo Shuffle key, have a little space above them so they no longer sit against the last row.
  • Stats: on the All tab, the heading names the range picked in the range menu, such as THIS SEASON, EVERY FORMAT or LAST MONTH, EVERY FORMAT.
  • Stats: on the All tab, the dates beside WINS AND LOSSES and under its graph run from the start of the range picked to today, with empty days or weeks where nothing was played.
  • Stats: on the All tab, the match count beside OVER All formats is gone, since the line under the heading already gives it.
  • Stats: on the All tab, BY WEEK spans the whole width when WHEN YOU WIN has no room, so more weeks fit.
  • History list: a rating that did not move shows alone, with no 0 after it, in a session's row and in the ratings across the top of the window.
  • Solo Shuffle: a result you typed by hand gives way to the rounds once the rounds decide the match. Your entry is kept, and the match window shows it as set aside.
  • Stats, Bests view: the table no longer draws a sentence about wins left out.
  • Stats, All overview: a format with no games in the range you picked reads none in the last week, none this season or none yet.
  • Unfinished match window: the title reads Unfinished #L1, as the list does.
  • Match list: The MMR column's hover names what the column holds and nothing else.
  • Stats tab: The note over the WHEN YOU WIN grid reads local time.
  • Players list: The note box reads "note on this player, Enter saves" while it is empty.
  • Export and import: A CSV file now keeps why a build, a dispel count or a round's dispels were not read, and each round's win count, so an import brings them back. A file from this version is refused by name by an older one.
  • Chat: Editing a match you left takes the number the window shows, so /pvph edit left L1 reason kicked works as #1 does.
  • Compare window: a value equal to the base's shows no difference after it, where it showed a dim 0. Two lengths that read the same are equal.
  • Settings: Close match and player windows with the main window is on by default. If you never changed it, closing the main window now closes your match and player windows too; turn it off on the WINDOWS card or with /pvph closeall off.
  • Compare window: each difference from the base sits right after its value, such as 4 of 6 +1.
  • Compare window: gold marks the best value only where higher is better: Rounds won, Rating change, Damage, Healing, Killing blows and battleground objectives, with green or red differences there. Rating after, MMR, Length and Swing are never gold, and their differences are dim.
  • Compare window: the window is as tall as its rows, until you resize it, and then it keeps your size.
  • Compare window: what +N means is the tooltip on the BASE tag, in place of the line over the buttons.
  • History: the bar under the list names the format, such as 1 Solo Shuffle picked or 3 Solo Shuffles picked.
  • Match list: in the MMR column your team's figure is green and the enemy team's is red, so the two read apart.
  • Settings: the picture of the announcement beside AT THE GATES draws one player per side at the size of the words beside it, centered beside its rows.
  • Settings: on Notes and players, the two mark rows read A bar before their name and A mark on their nameplate. Searching for mark or written still finds both.
  • Settings: the minimap button's Position reads in whole degrees, such as 243°, and so does /pvph minimap where.
  • Settings: every card on General fits the window at its default size, with nothing to scroll.
  • Settings: the find box also matches a button's word and the words a reader types for it, so export, import, index, backup and restore each find their row. It used to match the row's label alone.
  • Settings: picking a page, by a click or by /pvph options <page>, clears the find box and shows that page. It used to leave the Every page stack on screen.
  • Settings: a found row that depends on a switch shows with its switch above it, so the switch can be turned on from the find.
  • Players list: a player met only in a Solo Shuffle where no round settled counts as met, and the WITH YOU and AGAINST YOU cards read met, no round settled for them. It used to read never met in a match above a table listing the match, and the PLAYERS MET figure differed from the About tab's.
  • Settings: the list at the left is five pages, General, Alerts, Notes and players, Recording, and Data and backups, with Diagnostic as a dim word at the foot of the list. Each page is a few named cards, such as RESULTS ON SCREEN and AT THE GATES, and the page's name heads the pane.
  • Settings: every switch reads On or Off in a word beside it.
  • Settings: a setting that depends on another stands indented behind a rule under it, and goes dim and stops answering while the switch it needs reads Off. Its tooltip still shows.
  • Settings: the find box sits at the top of the page list and searches every page. The rows it finds show under an Every page heading, and clearing the box brings the page back.
  • Settings: the AT THE GATES card shows a small picture of the announcement, drawn at the layout, size and opacity you have set, so a change shows before the next match.
  • Settings: the WINDOWS card's title row carries a Game settings panel link to the game's own settings panel, where two buttons stood.
  • Settings: some rows are renamed: Chat line after a match, Open the match window, Mark people you have written about, Dock it to the group finder, and Layout for the announcement's shape.
  • Settings: /pvph options takes a page word: general, alerts, notes, recording, data or diagnostic. The older words all, window, minimap, history and storage still open the page that holds their rows.
  • Settings and /pvph minimap where: the minimap button's angle reads at two decimals, for example 243.00 degrees, the same figure the debug ring records.
  • /pvph window: every size and stored position reads at two decimals, so a window set a fraction under its floor no longer reads as the floor.
  • Stats: the PEAK card names the first day your rating reached its peak, the same day the About tab names.
  • Players list: WITH and AGAINST count only the rounds the game recorded, so a round you typed in by hand no longer moves them, and a Solo Shuffle where no round settled no longer counts as a meeting.
  • AddOns list: PvPHistory shows the minimap button's picture beside its name, and so does its entry in the minimap's addon dropdown. It used to show a question mark.
  • Test data: the generated history /pvph debug fixture writes uses made-up player names on made-up realms and real arena, battleground and zone names, and your own row carries your character's name, so a screenshot taken over it reads like ordinary play.

Fixed

  • Match window: a round you typed in reads WON or LOST with an asterisk on its round card, and the head's round pips count only rounds the game reported.
  • History list: a match the game closed without finishing no longer joins a later session or stretches its time span to the next login.
  • Compare: a reset, a restore, a CSV import or the test data starting or ending empties the matches picked to compare.
  • Results bar: a bar left at its default place stays there after the window scale changes and the game reloads.
  • Stats: on a long history, BY WEEK on the All tab shows the newest weeks that fit instead of drawing past its half.
  • Stats: the rating curve's peak, end and start labels keep apart at the size they are drawn.
  • Settings: one setting that cannot be read no longer leaves the other number settings blank.
  • Export and import: a CSV whose generated-data cell reads false imports as a played match, and a note longer than 200 bytes is left out and counted.
  • Export and import: a restore or import with no history loaded says so.
  • Chat: /pvph edit <id> result and /pvph edit left #<n> reason with no value name the value they cleared.
  • Chat: /pvph season forget <n> prints the forgotten season's label, start and end.
  • Chat: /pvph season says when the game gave no figures for a bracket.
  • Chat: /pvph debug show 40 ui filters to ui, as /pvph debug show ui 40 does.
  • Chat: /pvph compare add last and /pvph window size refuse a count or size that is not a number.
  • Chat: /pvph window reset no longer says a match or player window was put back when only its saved size was cleared.
  • Settings: the four announcement sliders show on a game client whose Settings panel offers no buttons.
  • Stats, Comps view: the RATING column shows the rating change each composition moved, and stays blank where no change was recorded. It used to read 0 on every Solo Shuffle row.
  • Match window: a damage or healing total near a million or a billion stays six characters wide, such as 1.0M or 1.0B.
  • Stats, Solo Shuffle: the ROUNDS line on Shuffle Brawl and All says how many matches it covers.
  • Windows: at a window scale other than 100, switching between History and Players keeps the window's top edge, and a player window opens beside its match window instead of over it.
  • Windows: changing the window scale before the window has been opened keeps it where you left it.
  • Windows: dragging the window after typing a size no longer saves the typed size.
  • History: reopening the window shows the tab, search and filters you left, and picking a character with no games on that tab goes to All.
  • History: folding and unfolding a session keeps your selected match.
  • Stats: a card you picked comes back when you return to its tab.
  • Compare window: spec icons fill their column before showing +N, and the remove button draws an x every font has.
  • Chat: the last command typed alone prints the newest match in full. It used to call last an unknown command. /pvph last
  • Chat: the comps command answers a mistyped format with the formats you have stored, as the other commands do. /pvph comps
  • Chat: the season readout counts the rounds the scoreboard scored. /pvph season
  • Chat: the minimap readout says not built beside a shown button the game never built. /pvph minimap where
  • Saved data: A team rating of 0 at a season's first rated match is kept as 0. It used to be left empty in the CSV export.
  • Saved data: A backup that would lose a team's rating figures is refused instead of being kept.
  • Match window: A dispel count the game did not answer shows a dash and its reason. It used to read 0 for everybody.
  • Chat: The load message no longer prints under the warning that history was lost.
  • Season standing: Matches after a season you ended with /pvph season end leave that season's figures at once.
  • Chat: The message about matches filed as battlegrounds says they were played on a battleground map.
  • Specs view: Detail lines under an open spec no longer show another spec's icon.
  • Match list: The MMR and +N hovers no longer stay over a list that has no such column.
  • History window: It reopens on the Other tab when that tab holds only matches you left early.
  • Stats tab: Clicking a row low in the Ask pane, the comp table or a comp's match list scrolls it into view.
  • Match list: A match found open at the next login says when it was noticed, and a battleground or arena you left no longer says 0 rounds.
  • Stats tab: The last match card shows the time of a duel you started.
  • Stats tab: Worst comp counts the decided games its record and rate are taken from, leaving draws out.
  • Settings: Turning the debug log off closes the stored-entries panel, and the debug text switch updates the open windows at once.
  • Players list: A search under a format filter matches only the specs played in that format.
  • Compare window: /pvph compare add last picks from the matches the list shows after its search and filters.
  • Tooltips: After you hover the Compare window, other tooltips draw at their own width again.
  • Compare window: It opens where you last moved it.
  • Windows: The CSV, transfer and stored-entries windows, the results bar, the banner and the group finder card open where the addon places them, never where the game remembered a drag.
  • Results bar: At a window scale other than 100 it sits 72 down on the screen when first shown and after a window reset.
  • Windows: /pvph window size max max reaches the edge of the screen at a window scale under 100.
  • Settings window: Picking the Look that is already drawn changes nothing and says nothing. It used to report the appearance as set and redraw every window when Match the game was picked on a character that had never chosen one.
  • History: a picked match's gold check box has a space of its own before the spec icon, so it no longer covers the icon, and no row moves when a box shows.
  • Settings: a switch that is off reads Off. It used to read three dots, the word being cut to a box too narrow for it.
  • Settings: switching Announce who you know off takes down the drag plate an unlock put up. It used to stay on screen with its Lock control dim.
  • Settings: /pvph options find <word> typed with the settings closed says the rows show when the settings open. It used to report the count from the last time they were open.
  • Players list: typing in the search box no longer reads every saved match on each letter.
  • After a match: the new best: fastest win line compares against the same wins the Bests view shows for that spec, so the two no longer name different times.
  • Match list: a match you were disconnected from is filed under the character that was in it and dated when it opened. It used to be filed under whichever character logged in next, dated at that login.
  • Tags: removing a player's last tag stops the tag box offering it.
  • Store panel: its counts follow a stored match, a World PvP outing ending and a rebuild of the index while it is open.
  • CSV import: an import that stops part way says how many records landed and the window shows them.
  • CSV export: an export taken during a World PvP outing leaves that outing out until it ends and says so, so importing the file later no longer adds a second copy of the outing.
  • Addon compartment: the hover says the click opens or closes the history, since it does both.
  • Player window: a player window opened beside a match window takes the right side when the room there is short by less than a hundredth of a unit, which is the room the debug ring records.
  • Window position: a window you move or resize while a scale is set for the session stays where you left it once the scale is cleared or the game reloads. It used to reopen nearer the top left.
  • Results bar: changing the window scale in Settings keeps the bar where it was drawn, even when you never moved it.
  • Players list: a result typed onto a World PvP outing or a Solo Shuffle with no rounds no longer counts as a decided game.
  • Minimap button: hovering it reads today's figures once instead of going through every saved match on each hover.
  • Comps view: a row with no games figure shows a dash. It used to read nil.
  • Fault report: the copied report names PvPHistory.
  • Duel tab: each row of WHO YOU DUEL shows the last day you met before the realm, so a long realm name no longer cuts the day off. It used to read Brackenmere, last Sun....

Removed

  • Settings: All settings, its two columns and the count beside each name in the list are gone, as is /pvph options all with a word scrolling to a section. all opens General, and all with a word opens that word's page.
