Description
WoW Forever Group/Raid Guide
Made by Jammer - Exhalez.
A dungeon/raid reference and group-leading companion for WoW Forever. Browse dungeons, review boss mechanics and abilities, track dungeon quests, inspect loot, and prepare your group from one window.
Features
- Dungeon tiles ordered by their displayed starting level, plus an End Game filter.
- Wing selection for Scarlet Monastery, Dire Maul, Blackrock Spire and Stratholme.
- Boss mechanics and ability icons with native spell tooltips.
- 3D boss previews where supported, with zoom, movement and reset controls.
- Account-wide boss notes with Save and Discard.
- Boss loot, available drop percentages, relevant quest items and rare-or-better trash drops.
- Dungeon quests with faction and wing filters, expandable chains, completion checks and NPC map locations.
- Quest sharing for eligible quests while grouped.
- Supported dungeon maps with clickable boss markers, floor controls and known random-spawn locations; integration with the normal in-game map. Drag the addon map title bar to move it, or drag its bottom-right corner to resize it.
- Key and attunement information.
- Search for dungeons, bosses, loot and quest rewards. Shift-left-click items to prepare a chat link; Shift-right-click equipment to preview it on your character.
- Separate LFG and Enlist shortcuts for browsing or preparing a dungeon listing. Show all level ranges is enabled when your character is outside the selected activity's suggested range, with a personal chat notice. The player submits the listing.
- Ready checks, pull countdowns, announcements and editable role calls.
- Improved window layering: loot and quest drawers cover the main window when overlapping, while Options stays above addon windows.
- Faction-inspired themes and support for multiple WoW languages, with English fallback where needed.
Other New Dungeons and Raids will be coming soon! :)
Getting started
Open the addon with its green minimap icon or /ig (also /instanceguide). Choose a dungeon, wing and boss to view available information. Use Options to adjust the theme, language and pull timer.
Install the ZIP so wow-forever-group-raid-guide is directly inside Interface/AddOns. The display name is WoW Forever Group/Raid Guide; keep the folder name unchanged. No other addon is required.
Updating from version 1.0: the addon folder and commands have changed. With WoW closed, remove the old WoWForeverRaidLeader or WoWForeverIG folder after keeping a backup, so only wow-forever-group-raid-guide remains installed. To retain existing notes/settings, back up the old addon's account-level SavedVariables file and copy it as wow-forever-group-raid-guide.lua in the same SavedVariables directory before launching the game. Keep the WFRLDB contents unchanged. Do not overwrite an existing new-name saved file if it already has your current data.
Compatibility and data notes
Version 1.0.1 targets WoW Forever 1.60.1 (interface 16001). Other WoW editions are not supported by this release. Forever is in development, so encounters, APIs, loot and availability can change. Some entries use clearly marked Classic reference data; missing models or maps show Coming Soon. Percentages are references, not guaranteed drop rates. Map markers indicate known encounter areas and may be approximate for patrols and events. Recipient eligibility for quest sharing is controlled by the game.
Credits
Additional dungeon map illustrations are by Santiago Reyes — Atlas de Azeroth: Forever, used under the artist's published addon-use permission. Credits and watermarks are preserved. See the bundled Artwork/GuideMaps/CREDITS.md for sources and permitted-use details. Other dungeon map textures originate from Blizzard's game assets. Original faction theme illustrations and the minimap emblem were generated for this project.
Item, quest and spell reference sources are recorded in the bundled documentation. Spell and item tooltips are supplied by the installed game client. This is an independent fan addon and is not affiliated with Blizzard Entertainment.
