AutoChatLog

AutoChatLog is a lightweight World of Warcraft addon designed to automatically log chat messages by type and organize them by date. With a simple and intuitive in-game UI, it allows players to easily manage their chat logs without leaving the game.

Features

Automatic Chat Logging: Logs various chat message types, including:
- Say, Whisper, Yell, Guild, Party, Raid, and more.
Logs Organized by Date: Chat logs are stored and grouped by day for easy navigation.
In-Game User Interface:
- Tabs for viewing logs and customizing logging settings.
- Dynamic window resizing and navigation controls for browsing logs by date.
Customizable Settings:
- Enable or disable logging for specific chat types through the settings tab.
Minimap Button:
- Quickly access the addon UI with a convenient minimap icon.

How to Use

Open the AddOn UI:
- Use the /chatlogui command in the chat, or
- Click the minimap button.
Customize Logging Settings:
- Navigate to the "Settings" tab to enable or disable logging for specific message types.
View and Navigate Logs:
- Use the "Logs" tab to browse chat logs by date.
- Navigate between days with the arrow buttons at the bottom of the log viewer.

Installation

Download and extract the AutoChatLog folder to your World of Warcraft AddOns directory:
- Retail: World of Warcraft/_retail_/Interface/AddOns/
- Classic: World of Warcraft/_classic_/Interface/AddOns/
Restart World of Warcraft or reload the UI with /reload.
