Wishbound

Wishbound keeps the gear you're chasing in one list per character and spec, then turns it into a plan: which dungeon or boss still drops something you need, which loot spec to use, and what's left on the pieces you already have.

Build a list

• Click a slot and pick from this season's loot, already filtered to your armor type and spec
• Alt-click any item anywhere: bags, chat links, the loot window, the Great Vault
• Star items in the Adventure Guide
• Import a SimC string, a Wishbound string, or a pile of item links
• Per item, set the track you want (Champion, Hero or Myth), the enchant, the gem, whether you'll add a socket, and whether it's the base for a tier piece

See what's left

• Plan: every dungeon and raid boss that still drops something you want, the biggest wins first, with the key level or difficulty needed and the loot spec to set. Then everything left on gear you already own: crests to upgrade, Catalyst charges, crafting, enchants, gems and sockets.
• List: all your slots at a glance, with an editor for each goal.
• Warband: which dungeon serves the most of your characters this week.

While you play

• Tooltips on any wanted item: which of your lists wants it, what you already have, and the next step to get it
• Badges in your bags and on the character sheet, so you don't vendor an off-spec upgrade (Baganator supported)
• A card when you enter a dungeon showing what it drops for you, and a one-click loot spec swap
• Drop alerts when a wanted item drops, with a polite whisper button when a groupmate loots something you need
• Great Vault choices labelled when they're on your list
• SimC export, to sim your finished list on Raidbots

Getting started

1. /wb or the minimap button opens Wishbound.
2. Make a list for the spec you're playing, then pick a slot and choose what you want.
3. Open the Plan tab to see where the missing pieces drop.

Useful commands: /wb help lists them all. /wb intro replays the quick intro, /wb config opens settings, /wb list prints your goals in chat, /wb why <item> says where an item drops, /wb vault shows your Great Vault choices.

Questions

Does it change my loot or roll for me? No. Wishbound only reads what the game already shows you and tells you what it means for your list. The one thing it can change is your loot specialization, and only when you click the button.

Does it work with other addons? Yes. Bag badges also work in Baganator, and the SimC export goes straight into Raidbots. Nothing is hooked that would conflict with a boss mod or a unit frame addon.

What content does it cover? Mythic+, the current raid and crafted gear.

Do alts work? Yes. Every character keeps their own lists, and the Warband tab compares them.

What's the Voidcore panel? Information only, and marked experimental: it shows your bonus rolls and what the current dungeon could give you. Wishbound never rolls for you.
