# Windfury

*You will forget it's installed. It will not forget about you.*

Windfury does the `/fart` emote at random. The timer starts the moment you log in, and every fart resets it. The next one could be a minute from now. It could be three hours. You'll never know when, and neither will your raid.

## How it works

- **Unpredictable by design.** Every wait is a 1-minute minimum plus an exponential random timer. After that first minute, a fart is never "due": the odds of one landing in the next minute stay the same no matter how long it's been. The average gap is about two hours, and you can change it.
- **Targeted farts.** If you have something targeted, it's a targeted fart, just like typing /fart yourself. Ragnaros has feelings too.
- **Held farts.** If one comes due while you're dead, it waits and comes out a few seconds after your rez. If a boss fight has chat locked, it comes out the moment the fight ends.
- **Lifetime stats.** Windfury tracks farts per session, per character and across your account, plus your longest and quickest silences and a leaderboard of your most farted-on victims.

## Commands

| `/windfury mean <minutes>` | Set the average time between farts (2–600, default 60) |
| `/windfury peek` | Time until the next fart (spoilers!) |

`/fartmachine` works too.
