Description
Wick's Poisons and Things is the rogue loadout kit for World of Warcraft: Forever. It keeps the things you check between pulls in one place, and puts the things you reach for mid-fight on keys.
Requires WickCore, which carries the shared window chrome, themes, options and minimap launcher for the suite.
Blade watch. Both blades on one compact strip: what each one is coated with, how long that has left, and how many charges are on it. The reading comes from the client's own temporary enchantment info rather than from a guess about what you last applied, so it is right after a reload, after a weapon swap, and for a coating somebody else put on you. A blade running low goes amber, then red, and the threshold is yours.
Coating keys. One key per hand. Press it and the right poison goes on the right weapon, no dragging and no two-step. The macro behind the key is rewritten out of combat as your bags change, so it always names a coating you are actually carrying. By default it takes the best one you have, or pin a specific poison to a hand and it uses that until you say otherwise.
Combo points over your target. The game only ever draws your class resource under your own nameplate, which is the wrong end of the screen from the thing you are hitting. This puts the points over the target's plate instead, as pips under its health bar, or above its name if you would rather be clear of the cast bar. Under them, a small energy bar: the points say how close the finisher is, the energy says whether you can pay for it, and neither asks you to look away. Both survive the client withholding the numbers, because nothing here ever compares a reading.
Weapon swap keys. For a rogue who fights with a slow main hand and keeps a dagger in the off hand, because Ambush and Backstab will not come out of anything else. One key puts the dagger in your main hand and stealths, the other puts the slow weapon back and strikes. They read whatever you are wearing, so a new weapon needs nothing done to it, and they name your blades by item id, so two swords called the same thing cannot pick the wrong one. They also read where you are standing: pressed again while stealthed the stealth key drops stealth and gives your slow weapon back, it holds off in combat and while Stealth is on cooldown, and the strike key leaves your hands alone while you are stealthed so it cannot strip the dagger you were opening with. The strip carries both as icons, with a mark on the weapon you are already holding. Worth knowing before you bind them: swapping resets your swing timer, and your coatings travel with the blades.
