WickCore

WickCore is the platform the Wick suite for World of Warcraft: Forever is built on. On its own it does nothing you can see. Installed alongside any Wick addon, it is what gives them a single look, a single options panel, and one set of profiles.

What it provides. A dialect shim, so an addon written once runs on both the Forever client and the Classic line without knowing which it is on. A restriction guard, so a value the client will not hand over is recognised as such rather than compared and blocked. Brand chrome, so every window in the suite is the same window. Profiles and themes you set once. A minimap launcher for everything installed. A version broadcast, so a group can see who is running what.

It also carries an optional settings store. On the Forever beta the client writes every addon's settings at logout and hands back nothing at load, so anything you configure is normally gone next time. That is the client and it affects every addon you have. WickCore can keep your Wick settings anyway, in a handful of macros, which live on Blizzard's servers and so survive a reload, a relog, a full restart and a different PC. Nothing is written until you ask for it with /wickcore store on. It only keeps what you changed from the defaults, it never touches your own macros, and if Blizzard fixes the client it notices and stays out of the way.

Required by every other Wick addon. Install it first and leave it enabled.
