Simple and Beautiful mod based for Player and Target frames with fat HP bars an Class colors but still very close to the original Blizzard UI style.
Also check out whoaUnitFrames (for WoW Classic).
Please report issues and errors here.

On wPlayerFrame.lua file comment or delete line 10.
hi, for some reason on my druid the health bar always has this bar on it https://gyazo.com/b09f5c1e79e245df5dbe53f8db0ff8d6. my mage doesnt have this issue and im not sure whats causing it. i disabled all addons except whothickframes and it still persists.
In reply to scrubxd:
That can happen cause whoa unitframes (or others like ImprovedunitFrames) enabled at same time with whoa thickframes. Both images will overlap.
Probably you have 2 similar addon enabled on your druid but not on your mage.
Other reason for that same error is addon not finding the texture and defaulting it to original, what would be extremely rare since you mage finds it perfectly.. For that you can try to enable and then disable dark frames.
Last resource would be to delete whoa*.lua files on the WTF folder and try reinstalling.
Let me know.

thank you for you response. Unfortunately, ive tried disabling all addons and it still persists. Ill try deleting the whoa.lua files.
Looks like enabling and disabling dark frames fixed it. Thank you for the help.
I'll try going into PTR at some moment to test it.
the unitframes move back to the default positions when i reloadui after moving them. I've done this when they're locked/unlocked, and troubleshooted quite a few other things. Can't seem to fix it

Hi there. TitanPanel is known to mess with frames on reload. As state by other user in a post further below i quote:
From the Main Menu (Escape) click ‘Interface Options’ then click on the “AddOns” tab. Expand ‘Titan Panel Classic’ (click + symbol). Select ‘Top Bars’ (assuming your Titan Panel is at the top of your screen - if it is not, select ‘Bottom Bars’).
Finally, in the ‘Options’ section, select “Disable Screen Adjust” and click Okay.
oh awesome! thanks a million
I'm trying using Whoa ThickFrames with ClassicInstantHealth and found a compatibility problem. When someone join/leave my group, player unit frame change its color. For example i'm playing druid, and when warrior join my group my HP bar became "warrior color" instead "druid color". If the character loses HP, the color is displayed correctly (but the problem will appear again if someone joins / leaves the group)
Self-targeted after warrior join my group
The color is displayed normally when druid takes damage (duel)

Have in mind im no longer active in wow i took a look at the addon files (but no ingame test).
Whoa mods a bit blizzards native functions while Lib based addons like ClassicInstantHealth uses libraries which i'm not familiar with, and are mostly community functions and workarounds themselves. Having explained that i can only guess some code gets overwritten od updated when ClassicInstantHealth refreshes the frames and changes color.
Since you only have this issue on party or raid roster changes i can try executing the whoas color function on those events, but i´ll need you to be my tester.
Changes we need to make are simple and goes as follow.
On wSettings.lua replace line 301 with:
if (event == "PLAYER_ENTERING_WORLD") or (event == "RAID_ROSTER_UPDATE") or (event == "GROUP_ROSTER_UPDATE") then
and replace lines lines 324 and 325 with:
let me know if it does the trick so i can push an update, otherwise you might need to seek help on ClassicInstantHealth addons author.
Unfortunately, this did not give any result.
Also i found that this problem appears after any interaction with the target (for example, when passing a quest or using flight master, also after dealing damage to the target) the color of the player's health becomes the color of the npc (target) health when using with ClassicInstantHealth
May be a dumb question. but i cant seem to get my targets health in numeric value. it is for my frame (has both % and total # of health) why cant my target show total # of health ? Seems to be only for other players. NPCS show up fine. it that something with the addon? or basic blizz UI?
In reply to rubikzz.
Hi there. I havent log in months so i can't really tell if there's any change by blizzard. I did some changes to status text some time ago and it could have something to do with.
Please post a screenshot so i can see what might be the issue.

In reply to rubikzz:
Yes. You´ll need to host it on any site and provide the link.
See post #228 as an example.
Hi, I'm getting some issues where the target of target frame stops showing and does not fix until I /reload.
