It’s early in The War Within expansion, and that means it’s time to gear up! If you’ve ever been in a group of friends and felt like trading loot between friends or party members was a little cumbersome in the heat of battle, then look no further! Or do, I’m not the boss of you. BUT! With this addon, whenever someone loots a piece of gear from a dungeon or raid boss, you’ll get a little popup showing the item, who looted it, and a quick stat breakdown if it’s something you can equip. Holding shift while mousing over the item will give you the usual item comparison tooltip.

Shift + Click the item to link it in chat.
[Quick Note] With the current WoW API, I’m using a function that’s relatively new and not entirely tested. I believe this function will only work for newer content (possibly Dragonflight and higher). If I need to expand on how items are detected, I’ll add in some extra logic if necessary.
