What's new

[1.1] - 2026-08-01

Also prepares for patch 12.1. Beyond the translation and fixes below, this release makes Whispy ready for 12.1 — that part adds no new features and changes nothing on the live client.

Added

  • German (deDE) translation covering the window and chat-list UI, the minimap tooltip, and all /whispy chat output, plus a localised Notes-deDE in the TOC.
  • Date formats are now part of the localisation table, so day dividers and chat-list stamps follow the locale's own ordering (1. August 2026 rather than August 01, 2026).

Fixed

  • The resize grip was drawn and clicked underneath the message input box, leaving windows effectively unresizable; it now sits above the footer, and the input text stops short of it.
  • The minimap button's distance from the minimap centre was a fixed 80 pixels, which no longer sat flush against the edge; it is now measured from the minimap's real size, so the button stays put if the minimap is ever resized.

Changed

  • Runs on both the live client and the 12.1 PTR — the TOC now declares both (120007, 120100), so this single build loads without an "out of date" flag on either, and will keep working the day 12.1 goes live with no update needed.
  • The remaining hard-coded chat output (slash-command help, toggle confirmations, usage errors) routes through the localisation table instead of literal English strings.
