What's new

WhisperMessenger Backport 2.0.3

For the original WoW 3.3.5a client, build 12340.

  • Added Only auto-open outside combat under Options > Behavior. Enabled by default, it keeps incoming whispers from opening the main messenger window during fights when Auto-open on incoming whisper is turned on.
  • This setting affects only automatic opening of the main window. Messages still arrive and are saved, you can open the messenger manually, and small message-preview popups keep their existing behavior.

Install the addon as Interface/AddOns/WhisperMessenger and open it with /wmsg. Battle.net whispers and communities are unavailable on the original client.

Original addon by F0rty_tw0 and contributors, under the MIT license. Backport maintained by JGoldz75.
