WheresMyGuildies - See your guildmates anywhere in the world - no group required!

How It Works
WheresMyGuildies is a simple addon that lets you and your guild share map locations without being in a group. Every guildmate running the addon appears as a class-coloured dot on your minimap, zone, continent, and world maps, updating live every few seconds (adjustable).

Works instantly once installed
No setup, no config menus
Uses Blizzard’s internal API only, no external servers or data collection (See, Bob?)
Lightweight, safe, and doesn’t touch your chat or UI

Pins fade over time, show “AFK” after a few minutes of inactivity, and automatically clear after ten minutes with no updates.

Commands
/wmg

/wmg on - enable the addon and start showing guild pins
/wmg off - disable updates and hide all pins
/wmg hide - temporarily hide all pins without turning it off (you are still visible)
/wmg showme - toggle showing your own pin
/wmg hideme - hide you from other guildies (stop broadcasting)
/wmg trust <name> - add a trusted player who can still see you while hidden
/wmg untrust <name> - remove a trusted player
/wmg options - show size/interval options

/wmg mm <px> - minimap pin size (current: 6)
/wmg wm <px> - world-map pin size (current: 10)
/wmg time <s> - send interval seconds (current: 2.0)
/wmg trustlist - list your trusted players
/wmg trustedwhenhidden - toggle trusted visibility while hidden

(This addon is shamefully made with ChatGPT, and was originally a 'between friends' addon, but as the guildies grew, I decided to move it to CurseForge for less privacy on Azeroth amongst the guild)
