trash, half of it might be a quest item, and that one weird trinket? No idea.
Sell it and you'll need it tomorrow. Keep it and it rots in slot 16 forever.

**WhereFrom** is the grizzled bank alt in your head that actually *remembers.*
Hover any item and it quietly tells you where it came from and what it was for —
right on the tooltip. No spreadsheets, no alt-tabbing to a database, no shame.

## What it tells you
- **🗡 Drop:** which boss dropped it, and from which dungeon or raid — *"Drop: Xathuux the Annihilator - Murder Row."* (Backed by a bundled vault of ~19,000 items.)
- **📜 From quest / Used for:** WhereFrom *learns* which quests reward an item or send you to collect it — and remembers it forever, even the zone it sent you to.
- **🔗 Wowhead in one keystroke:** Alt+click any item to grab its Wowhead link (and its quest's), copy, done.

## The magic trick
There's no spying and no servers. WhereFrom builds its memory from **your own
adventures** — every boss you fell, every quest you turned in. The longer you
play, the smarter it gets. It's *your* journal, written automatically.

## How to use it
Install it. Hover stuff. That's the whole tutorial.
Type **`/wf`** for options (toggle on/off, change the link key, etc.).
