WoW Gold Manager — Major Feature Update

This update introduces a complete set of improvements to gold tracking, farming analysis, weekly character management and World Quest control.

Gold Goal and Farm Forecast

• Dedicated Real Farm Pace panel.

• Shows the latest recorded farming day.

• Calculates the average daily gold earned from recorded farm sessions.

• Displays the estimated date for reaching the configured gold goal.

• Clearly shows:

  “At this pace, X days remain to reach the goal.”

• Today’s farm earnings update during an active session.

• If only one farming day is available, that day is used as the initial average.

• The configurable deadline plan remains available separately.

• Shows how much gold must be earned per day to complete the goal within the selected number of days.

• Compares the real farming average with the required daily pace.

• Gold goals remain fully editable.

Farm Session Tracking

• Named farming sessions with presets for:

  • General farming.

  • World Quests.

  • Weekly activities.

  • Gathering.

• Each farm session records:

  • Character.

  • Farming method.

  • Map.

  • Duration.

  • Gross income.

  • Expenses.

  • Net profit.

  • Quest gold.

  • Gold per hour.

• Farm sessions can be paused and resumed.

• Paused time is excluded from gold-per-hour calculations.

• Active sessions are continuously saved.

• Interrupted sessions can be recovered after disconnects, crashes or unexpected logouts.

• Farming results are stored in the history and method ranking.

Compact Farm Mini Player

• The compact window displays:

  • Connected character.

  • Active farming method.

  • Session profit.

  • Real-time session timer.

  • Gold per hour.

  • Weekly gold.

• Added properly drawn play, pause and stop controls.

• The controls no longer depend on font symbols that may appear incorrectly.

• Long character names and farming methods no longer overlap the controls.

• Pressing Escape from the main window opens compact mode.

• Clicking the X button on the main window also opens compact mode.

• Clicking the compact window reopens the full interface.

• Clicking the X button on the compact window completely closes the addon interface.

World Quest Tracking and Routing

• Automatically scans gold World Quests when the World Map is opened or changed.

• Tracks only valid World Quests with direct gold rewards.

• Filters World Quests by the current expansion whenever the WoW API provides the expansion identifier.

• Removes completed, expired or unavailable World Quests after a map scan.

• Displays:

  • Quest name.

  • Map.

  • Direct gold reward.

  • Remaining time.

  • Estimated map distance.

• Added an optional automatic World Quest route.

• The route marks the nearest available gold World Quest.

• After completing the current quest, the route automatically advances to the next one.

• Added a waypoint button to the compact window.

• The compact button can mark the next gold World Quest without enabling the automatic route.

• Its tooltip shows the quest name, map, reward and distance.

• The button becomes visually muted when no valid World Quest is available.

Weekly Alt Planner

• Added a complete weekly planner for registered characters.

• The connected character is always shown first.

• Displays weekly quest progress for every character.

• Shows completed and pending weekly tasks.

• Includes visual progress bars.

• Highlights characters who have completed all weekly tasks.

• Shows how many characters have completed their weekly objectives.

• Displays the remaining weekly gold potential.

• Shows when each character’s World Quest data was last updated.

• Warns when character data may be outdated.

• Weekly progress remains individual for each character.

• Weekly task completion resets automatically with the weekly game reset.

Farm Method Ranking

• Compares farming methods by gold per hour.

• Ranking filters include:

  • Last 7 days.

  • Last 30 days.

  • Complete history.

• Shows:

  • Number of sessions.

  • Total net profit.

  • Average gold per hour.

  • Best recorded gold-per-hour result.

  • Best character.

  • Best map.

• Includes a reliability indicator based on the number and duration of recorded sessions.

Accurate Gold Accounting

• Gold sessions are reconciled using:

  Opening balance + income − expenses = closing balance

• Transfers between characters and the Warband Bank do not count as farming profit.

• Warband Bank deposits and withdrawals are tracked separately.

• Repair costs are excluded from farm results.

• WoW Token purchases are excluded from farm results.

• Auction House revenue collected from mail is separated from regular mail gold whenever invoice information is available.

• Unidentified balance differences are stored as reconciliation adjustments instead of farming profit.

• The Gold panel displays:

  • Transfers.

  • Excluded expenses.

  • Reconciliation adjustments.

  • Accounting verification status.

• Gold sources are separated into categories such as:

  • Quests.

  • Vendors.

  • Auction House.

  • Mail.

  • Loot.

  • Trades.

  • Other sources.

Account-Wide Wealth Tracking

• Calculates total account wealth using:

  • Gold owned by registered characters.

  • Warband Bank gold.

• Character and Warband balances are displayed separately.

• Shows total account wealth and progress toward the configured goal.

• Includes daily wealth history.

• Shows comparisons between:

  • Today and yesterday.

  • Current week and previous week.

  • Last 7 days and last 30 days.

• Displays the best farming day and best-performing character.

• Shows how much gold still needs to be earned during the current week to maintain the selected deadline.

• Estimated mail, auctions and bag-item values remain separated from official liquid wealth.

Backup and Restore

• Added complete database backup and restoration.

• Backups include characters, settings, weekly progress, farm history, rankings, goal data and account wealth history.

• Backup and Restore can be accessed from the Account tab.

• Also available through:

  /wgm backup

Interface Improvements

• The main window is fully movable and resizable.

• Window size and position are saved.

• Added controls to restore the default size.

• Added an option to lock or unlock resizing.

• Improved panel spacing, alignment and responsive behavior.

• Added a compact circular WGM minimap button.

• The minimap button can be dragged around the outside of the minimap.

• Improved visual separation between farming data, real goal pace and manual deadline planning.

Automatic Localization

• The interface automatically detects the language selected in the WoW client.

• Supported languages include:

  • English.

  • Brazilian Portuguese.

  • Spanish.

  • French.

  • German.

  • Italian.

  • Russian.

  • Korean.

  • Simplified Chinese.

  • Traditional Chinese.

• Missing translations automatically fall back to English.

• Quest, item, class and map names continue using the official localization provided by the game.

• Changing the language does not affect saved characters, settings or historical data.

WoW Gold Manager is now a complete account-wide gold farming assistant, combining weekly alt management, World Quest routing, accurate financial tracking, farming analytics, gold-goal forecasting and customizable interface tools.
