WFF Companion 0.11.1 — Beta

A French-language companion for World of Warcraft: Forever. This update includes the experimental features developed since version 0.8.

New features

• Twelve-tab interface with the WoW Forever FR logo.
• Talent planner for all nine classes: 27 trees, 465 talents, separate A/B plans, tree and talent comparisons, point budgets and prerequisite checks.
• Character development advice based on class and goal: solo leveling, dungeon damage, tanking, healing or PvP where applicable. Suggestions are indicative; this is not a DPS simulator or a proven optimal build.
• Profession suggestions based on current skill, recipe difficulty and materials in your bags; missing-material lists for one craft. No automatic crafting or profession changes.
• Optional in-game community searches by zone and faction; manual group announcements, whispers and invitations.
• Reference progression stages from levels 1–60, journal objectives, waypoints and a direction arrow.
• The character export now includes the installed addon version. The website can show update availability after a browser, Windows companion or manual sync.

Data and limitations

Talent trees and trainer spells: data from ForeverDB.net, build 1.60.1.70755, retrieved November 4, 2026. Profession snapshot: November 2, 2026. French client names are used when available; some source names and descriptions may remain in English.

Leveling stages are reference routes, not a fully verified and optimized quest-by-quest 1–60 route. The direction arrow points directly toward a target and does not calculate paths around obstacles. Social features depend on the game APIs and normal channel availability. Character sync is based on a saved export after /reload or logout; it is not live armory verification.

Automated tests use a simulated Lua 5.1 client API. Full validation inside the Forever client is still needed, so this release is a beta.

Installation and privacy

Install the WoWForeverFR folder in Interface/AddOns and open /wff outside combat. /wff talents opens the planner; /wff evolution opens character and profession advice; /wff groupe opens community tools.

No API keys, passwords or HTTP requests are included in the addon. Position sharing remains optional and off by default. Talent points are never spent automatically. The browser and Windows companion are optional alternatives for updating your character on the website.
