Welcome Back Adventurer 2.0.0

Calendar Login Info is now Welcome Back Adventurer: a full "what's going on" briefing when you return to a character.

New

  • Welcome back window: opens when you log in to a character you haven't played in a while (4+ hours, or its first login of the day). Each character keeps its own timing, so your alts get their own welcome.
  • Where you left off: where you played and for how long, quests done, levels gained, quests ready to turn in and quests still open by zone.
  • Events: calendar invites, holidays ending soon, and events coming up in the next 7 days.
  • Guild & Friends: who leveled up or joined since you were last here, with max-level dings highlighted.
  • Your character: rested XP, raid lockouts with reset times, and unread mail.
  • Sections only appear when they have something to say, and the most important ones come first.
  • Click a line to open the matching window (calendar, quest log, guild, friends). Collapse sections you don't need.
  • Settings page in Options > AddOns > Welcome Back Adventurer. Type /wba to open the window anytime.

Good to know

  • Quick relogs stay quiet. Turn on "Chat Summary on Quick Relogs" if you'd like a one-line summary instead.
  • Never opens during combat.
  • If you still have the old addon folder, it's turned off automatically and you'll be asked to reload once. You can then delete the old folder.
