WoW Collection Planner (WCP)

WCP (WoW Collection Planner) decides what to farm next and takes you there without leaving the game.

What the addon does on its own

No account, no website, no other addons required. Install it, type /wcp.

• Mount catalog with acquisition methods, drop chances, vendor costs and exact coordinates, filtered to what can still be obtained. Toys are covered by the step-by-step guides below, and are being added to the catalog next; the website already lists all 1,156 of them.
• In-game routing. WCP sets the waypoint, drives the game's own navigation arrow and recalculates after every loading screen. Paths go through portals, flight paths, ships, zeppelins, your hearthstone and mage teleports. Routes you have not unlocked are skipped, because the addon checks your own quest history before using a portal.
• The route follows your progress, not just your position: it advances when you reach a point, complete a quest, collect a mount or change zone.
• Quest-chain guidance. For long unlocks the addon reads your quest log and completed quests, works out which step you are actually on, explains why, and points you at the right NPC. Chromie Time is taken into account.
• What is nearby. Missing collectibles in your current zone, sorted by distance, with the attempts you have already spent on each.
• Automatic attempt tracking. Kills of rares and bosses that can drop a wanted mount or toy are counted per character, without you clicking anything.
• Bilingual interface: English and Russian, switchable in the addon.

It is small: a 940 KB download, about 3.6 MB installed, 34 files. There is nothing to configure before it works.

What the website adds (optional)

wcphub.com is open without an account: the full database of ~2,800 mounts and toys, a transmog set catalog, acquisition data, curated lists and an in-page 3D model viewer. Browse it like any reference site.

Signing in adds your own layer: statuses, wishlist, farming routes and attempt history shared across characters and computers. You can sign in with Battle.net, which imports the mounts your account already owns.

Why there is a Windows app (also optional)

WoW forbids addons from using the network, so a route built on the site reaches the game one of two ways: you paste a code into the addon, or WCP Companion does the pasting for you and sends your progress back. The app reads the addon's SavedVariables file that the game itself writes. It never reads combat or text logs and never attaches to the game process. It is a convenience, not a requirement.
