2.3.0 — fixes

• Fixed: /wsc toggle did not cover your own stomps. With announcements off, your stomp was still handed to a group member and posted to party chat, and a group member who had turned theirs off kept a stomp handed to them, so nobody posted it. Now, with yours off, your compliment appears only in your own chat window, and a group member handed your stomp posts it whatever their own setting. A group member still on 2.2 behaves as before.
• Fixed: a whisper could make you post in party chat. The addon took its messages from anyone, on any channel. Only members of your party, raid or instance group can trigger a compliment now; whispers, guild and custom-channel addon messages are ignored.
• Fixed: compliments relied on an old chat function. Forever keeps the old way of sending chat only as a fallback the client can switch off, and with it off a compliment was lost to an error. Compliments now go through the current chat API, and if the game refuses one, it prints to your chat window instead.

Supported versions

Built for WoW: Forever, and it works on retail, where the addon API is the same. Classic clients are not a development target.
