WarMode Radar
Never get ambushed in open-world PvP again.
WarMode Radar is a lightweight, high-performance situational awareness addon built specifically for World of Warcraft players running War Mode. It continuously monitors your surroundings for hostile enemy players using real-time combat events and nameplate detection, giving you an immediate heads-up before an enemy gets the jump on you.
⚔️ Key Features
-
Real-Time Threat Detection: Scans for hostile enemy players nearby via active combat log events (~50 yards) and nameplate rendering range (~20–40 yards).
-
Audio Alerts: Plays an instant warning chime when an enemy player enters your detection perimeter, giving you critical time to prep for combat or escape.
-
Class-Colored Feed: Formats enemy names with their official class colors for quick threat identification at a glance.
-
100% Safe & Taint-Free: Designed with custom, pure-Lua UI elements—guaranteeing zero Blizzard UI blocks, taint errors, or action-button popups.
-
Clean & Lightweight: Minimal memory footprint with a draggable, dark-themed window that keeps your UI clutter-free.
📡 How It Works
Blizzard API rules prevent addons from plotting exact 2D map coordinates for hostile players. WarMode Radar maximizes open-world detection within Blizzard's sandbox by listening to two live game triggers:
-
Combat Log Events: Catches enemies whenever they cast a spell, use an item, or attack a creature within combat log range (~50 yards).
-
Nameplate Detection: Instantly registers stealth-broken or passive enemies as soon as their nameplate renders in your view.
