What's new

Warlock Tools Forever 1.5.0

Changes

Fixes

  • The Focus box above the Control bar now takes the Bar size setting once; before, it was scaled twice (at 80% it showed at 64%).

Other changes

  • The DoT tracker, the nameplate DoT dots, the DoT damage prediction, and the Control bar with its macros and Fear, Banish, Enslave Demon, and Howl of Terror announcements now run on Dyre's Toolkit 2.5's shared engines. Your settings, frame places, and macros stay. Update Dyre's Toolkit to 2.5 or later: with an older version those features stay off, and WTF says so once in chat.
  • Clicking a Control bar row to cast its spell on your focus again now needs a focus seen to work, as the Focus box already did.
  • "! Fear", "! Banish", and "! Seduction" now count as known through any rank of their spell, also a client's own ranks matched by name.
  • Announcements: an empty %T now drops the space before it.
  • Learned DoT ticks for the prediction move to Dyre's Toolkit, one store for every Dyre's AddOn; WTF's are copied there once.

Notes

  • For WoW: Forever and WoW Classic Era 1.15.9 (build 70003, Interface 11509). Tested on Forever beta 1.60.1, build 70450, Interface 16001. WTF runs on later beta builds while the client provides the APIs it needs, and disables itself with one chat message if they are missing.
  • Soul Shard management deletes shards created by Drain Soul above your limit (default: your soul bag size, or 6 without one). Shards you move in yourself are never deleted. Set the limit in Options > AddOns or with /wtf options.
  • Stones and Announce: Soulstone and Healthstone buttons, and group and whisper messages for your summons and Soulstones, each with its own settings page.
  • Healthstone trading, Soulstone and Healthstone reminders, and an optional Nightfall sound.
  • DoT tracker: color-coded timers for your DoTs, Bane, Curse, and Fear on up to eight mobs, and optional DoT dots on nameplates.
  • Sounds come from Dyre's Sounds, which the CurseForge app installs with WTF. Without it WTF plays no sounds and says so once in chat.
