Warband Gear Optimizer (WGO) scans every character in your Warband and tells you, right on the item tooltip, which one needs it most — so upgrades never end up on the wrong alt again.

Core Features

Warband-Wide Tooltip Comparison — Hover any equippable item and WGO instantly shows which of your tracked characters would benefit most from it, using Pawn scores when available (auto-detects your active scale) or a solid item-level fallback when Pawn isn't installed.

Warband Bank Scanner — Scans your Warband Bank and lists every stored item that would be a genuine upgrade for at least one character, deduplicated per character/slot so you see the single best option instead of three near-duplicates.

Focus Tab — A one-glance dashboard for your currently logged-in character: best World Quest, Weekly Quest, Crest upgrade, Mythic+ target, Delve tier, Raid difficulty, and Hunt — click any card to jump straight to its detail tab.

Great Vault Tracker — Shows the best reward item level reached this week per category (Raid / Mythic+ / World) for every character, plus how many of the 9 Vault slots are unlocked so far.

Crest Tracker — Displays each character's crest stockpile (Adventurer through Myth) and flags exactly which characters can afford to upgrade one of their currently equipped items right now, with farming suggestions per tier.

Mythic+ Dungeons — Lists the current season's dungeon rotation, scans boss loot via the Encounter Journal for Warband-wide upgrades, and opens the world map straight to the dungeon entrance.

Raid Loot Preview — The same boss-loot scan for the current raid tier across all four difficulties (LFR / Normal / Heroic / Mythic) — starts at the easiest difficulty that already offers an upgrade, since that's the one you'll clear first anyway.

Delves & Hunts — Estimates which Delve tier or Hunt difficulty would beat each character's weakest equipped slot, since neither system reveals its reward item level in advance.

World Quests & Weekly Quests — Scans your current zone's World Quests and every weekly quest already sitting in your quest log for equipment rewards that would upgrade someone in your Warband.

Requirements

Pawn is optional — WGO auto-detects your active Pawn scale and uses it for scoring, and falls back to a built-in item-level heuristic if Pawn isn't installed.

Season-specific values (crest costs, item levels per tier/difficulty, current dungeon/raid rotation) are kept up to date every patch.
