Warband Accountant is the ultimate gold management solution for Midnight and beyond. Designed for players managing multiple characters across a Warband, this addon automates the tedious process of balancing gold reserves while keeping a complete accounting of every copper that moves through your Warband Bank. Set individual targets for each alt, classify your characters by role, and let the addon handle the rest—automatically moving excess gold into your Warband Bank or topping up characters who've spent too much on repairs and auction house purchases.

What's New in v2.0.0 — Complete UI Overhaul
Version 2.0.0 is a ground-up rebuild of the addon interface. Everything now lives in a single unified window with a side navigation bar — no more separate floating ledger and targets frames.
New tabs:
- Overview — At-a-glance dashboard with stat cards for Warband Bank balance, total gold across all characters, weekly income, and session change. Full character list below showing current vs target.
- Targets — Manage per-character gold targets and types (now with a dropdown instead of checkboxes).
- Ledger — Complete transaction history with character filter.
- Settings — All configuration in one place. No more digging through the Blizzard addon panel.
- Changelog — Version history built right into the window.
6 Character Categories — now fully renameable: Character types expanded from 3 to 6. The new defaults are Main, Main Alt, Alt, Crafter, Auctioneer, and Bank Alt — each with their own default gold target. Every category name can be renamed from the Settings tab and your custom names appear everywhere in the addon automatically.
Key Features
Overview Dashboard (NEW in v2.0.0): Four stat cards at the top give you Warband Bank balance, total gold across all your characters, weekly income since reset, and your session gain or loss — all at a glance the moment you open the addon.
Unified Window (NEW in v2.0.0): All panels consolidated into a single window with a side nav bar. Open with /wba or the minimap button. Left-click opens Overview, right-click jumps straight to Settings.
6 Renameable Character Categories (NEW in v2.0.0): Main, Main Alt, Alt, Crafter, Auctioneer, and Bank Alt — each with configurable default targets. Rename any category from Settings and the new name propagates everywhere automatically.
Weekly Income Tracking: Tracks net gold earned across your entire Warband since your weekly reset — automatically calibrated per region (NA: Tuesday, EU: Wednesday, KR/TW: Thursday). Visible in the stat cards, ledger header, and minimap tooltip.
Transaction Ledger: Complete history of every deposit and withdrawal. Filter by character, see the running Warband Bank balance after each transaction, and track your lifetime deposited, withdrawn, and net gold.
Automatic Transfers: Opening your Warband Bank triggers instant calculations. Excess gold deposits automatically; deficits withdraw instantly (if enabled). Smart processing prevents duplicate transactions during the same bank visit.
Per-Character Gold Targets: Set a specific gold target for every character individually. Assign a character type to apply a category default automatically, or enter any custom amount.
Per-Character Pause: Temporarily disable automation for specific characters without removing their tracking. Perfect for alts you're currently leveling or holding gold for specific purchases.
Guild Bank Tracking: Guild Masters can see their Guild Bank balance in the Overview dashboard and minimap tooltip. The last known balance is cached so it's visible from any character in the guild.
Session Tracking: Monitor profit and loss across all characters since login. Visible in the Overview dashboard and minimap tooltip.
Full Minimap Integration: Built with LibDBIcon for perfect compatibility with MinimapButtonBag Reborn, SexyMap, ElvUI, and other button collectors. Drag to reposition or hide entirely from Settings.
Flexible Sorting: Organize your character list with arrow buttons or switch to Number Mode for precise sort order values.
Character Deletion: Remove ghost characters created by name changes or unwanted entries with a single click, or use /wba delete CharacterName.
Safety Controls: Optional confirmation dialogs prevent accidental transfers. Per-character pause states add another layer of control.
How It Works
After installation, type /wba to open the main window. Each character you log into is automatically tracked. Assign a Character Type from the dropdown in the Targets tab to inherit that category's default target, or set a custom gold amount manually. Enable automatic deposits/withdrawals in Settings, then pause individual characters as needed. The next time you open your Warband Bank, the addon executes transfers instantly and records them to your Ledger for permanent record-keeping.

Technical Details
Warband Accountant uses Blizzard's secure C_Bank API for all transactions, ensuring compatibility with future patches. The addon stores data account-wide via SavedVariables, including a 1,000-entry rolling transaction ledger with persistent lifetime statistics. LibDBIcon integration means no more fighting with minimap button collectors — the button behaves exactly like other modern addons.
Installation
Install via CurseForge App, WowUp, or manually extract to Interface\AddOns\. Requires no additional dependencies — all libraries (LibDBIcon-1.0, LibDataBroker-1.1, etc.) are included. Supports Midnight (Retail) and future expansion patches.
