# War Crate Leader
War Crate Leader is a lightweight Retail World of Warcraft addon for organized
War Mode groups hunting War Supply Crates in Midnight zones.
Only the party or raid leader sends announcements, preventing multiple group
members from flooding chat with duplicate messages.
## Features
- Two-phase War Crate alerts:
- `War Crate has spawned - check the map!`
- `The War Crate has landed at 42.6, 71.3 - check the map!`
- Party and raid chat announcements
- Optional Raid Warning announcements
- Large movable on-screen alert for the leader

- Duplicate announcement protection
- Midnight zone filters for Eversong Woods, Zul'Aman, Harandar, and Voidstorm

## Commands
- `/wcrate` — Open or close the settings menu
- `/wcrate spawned` — Manually announce the spawn phase
- `/wcrate landed` — Manually announce the landed phase using your coordinates
- `/wcrate scan` — Scan the current map for a War Crate vignette
## Important limitation
World of Warcraft only exposes vignette data for currently loaded map content.
The selected zone acts as a filter; the addon cannot remotely scan a different
unloaded zone.
The custom on-screen alert is shown only to the leader running the addon. Other
group members receive the normal party/raid and Raid Warning messages without
needing to install it.
