Wanion Assist

Wanion Assist is the official in-game companion addon for WANION (https://wanion.website), a Korean World of Warcraft raid and party operations platform. It carries invitation rosters, party placements, calendar events, and roster information prepared on WANION into the game through controlled copy-and-paste codes.

The addon is a user-reviewed bridge, not an automation service. It does not log in to WANION, connect directly to WANION servers, run background web requests, or require an API key or account token. Every workflow starts when the user copies a code from WANION and pastes it into the addon. Wanion Assist validates the code, displays a preview, and waits for the user to start the action.

Main features

Raid and party invitations

- Import an invitation list generated by WANION and review character and realm names.
- Invite characters one at a time while respecting Blizzard's in-game restrictions.
- Display completed, pending, and unresolved targets separately.
- Retry only unresolved targets instead of restarting the entire queue.
- Cancel an active invitation queue at any time.

Pasting a code does not silently start invitations. The user must review the list and explicitly start the queue. Normal raid-leader, raid-assistant, combat-lockdown, group-state, and Blizzard API restrictions still apply.

Party placement

- Import a WANION party-placement plan and compare it with the current raid roster.
- Review proposed moves and swaps before applying them.
- Apply supported changes only when the current character has the required in-game permission.
- Arrange the current roster directly when no imported plan is needed.

The addon never removes players from a group and does not bypass Blizzard's permission model. Missing characters and unsupported moves remain visible for manual review.

Roster snapshots

- Read the current party or raid roster.
- Generate a compact roster snapshot code for WANION.
- Copy the code back to WANION for roster comparison and operational review.

Snapshots are not uploaded or transmitted automatically. Copying and transferring the code remains under the user's control.

Calendar preparation and roster invitations

- Import a WANION calendar code and preview the date, time, title, description, WANION link, and confirmed-roster size.
- Open Blizzard's calendar event creation screen and fill supported fields for user review.
- Leave final event creation to the user through Blizzard's own Create button.
- Invite the confirmed WANION roster to a saved event and retry remaining targets after temporary calendar-busy states.

Opening Blizzard's calendar also opens the separate WANION Calendar Helper. The helper does not move, resize, replace, or re-parent Blizzard's calendar frame. Press × to close only the helper while leaving Blizzard's calendar open. The dismissed state is stored for the current character, and /wanion calendar opens the helper again.

Diagnostics

- Review the addon version, current workflow state, and supported environment information.
- Copy a diagnostic report for troubleshooting.
- Exclude the original pasted WANION code from diagnostic output.

Diagnostics help identify malformed codes, missing permission, combat restrictions, roster mismatches, and temporary calendar or invitation failures without exposing the original operational payload.

Safety and user control

Wanion Assist does not automatically create or save calendar events, sign up for or accept calendar invitations, remove players, or start an invitation or placement workflow immediately after a code is pasted. It does not send background chat messages or whispers, connect to an external service from the game client, or collect telemetry, advertising identifiers, account tokens, Battle.net credentials, or payment information. It contains no updater, executable, external addon library, or third-party runtime.

The user reviews imported information and explicitly starts every supported action. Blizzard's protected functions, combat-lockdown rules, group permissions, calendar state, throttling, and other in-game limitations are respected.

Data and privacy

Wanion Assist operates locally inside the World of Warcraft addon environment and has no direct HTTP or web API integration. WANION codes are supplied manually by the user, and roster snapshot or diagnostic codes are copied manually. Character-specific preferences such as window position and the calendar helper's dismissed state may be stored locally in SavedVariables and are not transmitted by the addon.

Installation and first use

1. Install Wanion Assist through the CurseForge App or in the Retail World of Warcraft AddOns directory.
2. Enable Wanion Assist on the character-selection AddOns screen.
3. Enter /wanion or /wno in chat to open the main window.
4. Copy a supported invitation, placement, calendar, or roster code from WANION.
5. Paste the code into the matching screen, review the preview, and explicitly start the action.

No WANION login, Battle.net token, or additional addon dependency is required inside the game.

주요 기능

공격대·파티 초대

- 와니온에서 생성한 초대 명단을 불러오고 캐릭터명과 서버를 검토합니다.
- Blizzard의 게임 내 제한을 준수하며 한 명씩 초대합니다.
- 완료, 대기, 실패한 대상을 구분해 표시합니다.
- 전체 명단을 다시 실행하지 않고 실패한 대상만 재시도할 수 있습니다.
- 진행 중인 초대 대기열을 언제든 중단할 수 있습니다.

코드를 붙여넣는 것만으로 초대가 자동 시작되지 않습니다. 사용자가 명단을 확인한 뒤 직접 실행해야 하며 공격대장·부공격대장 권한, 전투 제한, 그룹 상태와 Blizzard API 제한이 그대로 적용됩니다.

파티 배치

- 와니온에서 만든 파티 배치안을 불러오고 현재 공격대 명단과 비교합니다.
- 실제 적용 전에 이동 및 교환 예정 내용을 검토합니다.
- 현재 캐릭터에게 필요한 게임 내 권한이 있을 때만 지원되는 변경을 적용합니다.
- 별도의 배치 코드가 없어도 현재 명단을 게임 안에서 정리할 수 있습니다.

애드온은 공대원을 자동으로 추방하지 않으며 Blizzard의 권한 체계를 우회하지 않습니다. 찾을 수 없는 캐릭터나 적용할 수 없는 이동은 사용자가 확인할 수 있도록 남겨 둡니다.

명단 스냅샷

- 현재 파티 또는 공격대 명단을 읽습니다.
- 와니온에서 사용할 수 있는 명단 스냅샷 코드를 생성합니다.
- 생성한 코드를 와니온에 붙여넣어 명단 비교와 운영 확인에 활용할 수 있습니다.

스냅샷은 자동으로 업로드되거나 외부로 전송되지 않습니다. 복사와 전달은 사용자가 직접 수행합니다.

달력 일정 준비 및 명단 초대

- 와니온 달력 코드를 불러와 날짜, 시간, 제목, 설명, 와니온 링크와 확정 명단 인원수를 미리 확인합니다.
- Blizzard 달력의 일정 작성 화면을 열고 지원되는 필드를 사용자가 검토할 수 있도록 채웁니다.
- 최종 일정 저장은 사용자가 Blizzard 기본 UI의 만들기 버튼을 눌러 완료합니다.
- 저장된 일정에 와니온 확정 명단을 초대하고 일시적인 달력 처리 오류는 남은 대상만 재시도할 수 있습니다.

Blizzard 달력을 열면 별도의 와니온 달력 도우미도 함께 열립니다. 도우미는 Blizzard 달력 프레임을 이동하거나 크기를 바꾸거나 교체하지 않습니다. × 버튼을 누르면 Blizzard 달력은 그대로 두고 도우미만 닫을 수 있습니다. 닫은 상태는 해당 캐릭터에 저장되며 /wanion calendar 명령어로 다시 열 수 있습니다.

진단

- 애드온 버전, 현재 작업 상태와 지원 환경 정보를 확인합니다.
- 문제 해결에 사용할 진단 보고서를 복사할 수 있습니다.
- 사용자가 붙여넣었던 원본 와니온 코드는 진단 보고서에서 제외됩니다.

진단 기능은 원본 운영 정보를 노출하지 않으면서 잘못된 코드, 권한 부족, 전투 제한, 명단 불일치와 일시적인 달력·초대 오류를 확인하는 데 사용됩니다.

안전성과 사용자 통제

Wanion Assist는 달력 일정을 자동 생성·저장하거나 일정에 자동 신청·수락하지 않습니다. 플레이어를 자동 제거하지 않고, 코드를 붙여넣자마자 초대나 배치를 시작하지 않으며, 백그라운드 채팅이나 귓속말을 전송하지 않습니다. 게임 클라이언트에서 외부 서비스에 접속하지 않고 텔레메트리, 광고 식별자, 계정 토큰, Battle.net 인증정보 또는 결제정보를 수집하지 않습니다. 자체 업데이터, 실행 파일, 외부 라이브러리 또는 제3자 런타임도 포함하지 않습니다.

사용자는 불러온 정보를 직접 검토하고 각 작업을 명시적으로 시작해야 합니다. Blizzard의 보호 함수, 전투 제한, 그룹 권한, 달력 상태와 요청 제한을 준수합니다.

데이터와 개인정보

Wanion Assist는 World of Warcraft 애드온 환경 안에서 로컬로 작동하며 HTTP 또는 웹 API 연동 기능이 없습니다. 와니온 코드는 사용자가 직접 붙여넣고 명단 스냅샷과 진단 코드도 사용자가 직접 복사합니다. 창 위치와 달력 도우미 닫기 상태 같은 캐릭터별 설정은 SavedVariables에 로컬로 저장될 수 있으며 애드온이 외부로 전송하지 않습니다.

설치 및 시작

1. CurseForge App 또는 Retail World of Warcraft의 AddOns 폴더에 설치합니다.
2. 캐릭터 선택 화면에서 Wanion Assist를 활성화합니다.
3. 채팅창에 /wanion 또는 /wno를 입력해 메인 창을 엽니다.
4. 와니온에서 초대, 배치, 달력 또는 명단 코드를 복사합니다.
5. 해당 화면에 코드를 붙여넣고 미리보기를 확인한 뒤 직접 실행합니다.

게임 안에서는 와니온 로그인, Battle.net 토큰 또는 추가 애드온 의존성이 필요하지 않습니다.
