Class Logic Updates

  • Warrior:
    • Defensive Stance is now treated as an active tanking reminder rather than a hard gear-readiness blocker.
    • Hit checks use hit percentage for tank readiness.
    • Defence Skill calculation supports talent-adjusted values.
  • Paladin:
    • Righteous Fury is now treated as an active tanking reminder rather than a hard gear-readiness blocker.
    • Crush Coverage logic has been improved.
    • Holy Shield contribution is handled more clearly in tank stat displays.
  • Druid:
    • Bear Form is now treated as an active tanking reminder rather than a hard gear-readiness blocker.
    • Druid readiness focuses more appropriately on Crit Safe, Health, Armour, Dodge/Avoidance and threat stats rather than shield-tank Defence cap logic.

UI Improvements

  • Updated the main VTR window design with stronger class themes:
    • Warrior: dark brown
    • Paladin: dark pink
    • Druid: dark green
  • Updated the main title and version display.
    • The window now reads version information from the .toc file.
    • Version display no longer needs to be manually updated in MainWindow.lua.
  • Improved Summary page layout.
    • Core Requirements section is now cleaner and easier to read.
    • Additional tank stats are shown as information rows instead of hard requirements.
    • Requirement bars have improved visibility.
  • Improved Gear Check alignment and layout stability.
  • Improved Advisor and Boss Kills title positioning.
  • Added a minimap button to open and close VTR.

Tooltip Improvements

  • Reworked tooltips to explain tank stats in clearer language.
  • Tooltips now explain what contributes to values such as:
    • Miss
    • Avoidance
    • Coverage
    • Crush Coverage
    • Crit Safe
    • Health
    • Armour
    • Damage Reduction

  • Removed overly technical wording from tooltips to make them easier for new tanks to understand.

Fixes

  • Fixed Summary profile buttons so Heroic, Phase 1 and Phase 2 only appear on the Summary tab.
  • Fixed several layout issues where text could bleed into the header area.
  • Fixed some 100% Core Requirement bars not showing correctly.
  • Fixed Gear Check rows not displaying correctly after UI changes.
  • Fixed Stats Snapshot content not showing in some versions.
  • Fixed Stats Snapshot scroll behaviour so rows no longer bleed outside the mini window.
  • Fixed saved window positioning so VTR and the Stats Snapshot should remain where placed after reload.
  • Fixed class title display so it now shows only:
    • Warrior
    • Paladin
    • Druid

Notes

This version focuses heavily on improving the core tank-readiness experience, making the addon easier to read, easier to scale across different screen sizes and clearer for new tanks trying to understand what they are missing.
