VortexPvPCompanion
PvP stat priorities and embellishments for every spec, taken from the players at the top of the current ladder — and compared against what your character is actually wearing.
Open it, and it is already on your spec. No dropdown hunting, no second monitor, no guide tab open in a browser behind the game.
It tells you what you are missing, not just what is good
Every other stat guide hands you a list and leaves the arithmetic to you. This one reads your character sheet and puts the two side by side.
TARGET YOURS DIFF
Vers 21% 1117 19% 982 -135
Mastery 55% 893 58% 941 +48
Haste 9% 203 7% 164 -39
Crit 5% 22 6% 31 +9
Green means you are at or above what the top of the ladder is running. Grey means you are short, and by how much. That is the whole feature — but it is the difference between "Versatility is good for me" and "I am 135 Versatility off the pace".
Five brackets, not one
Stat priorities are not the same in a Shuffle lobby as they are in 3v3, and RBG is its own thing entirely. Every bracket is a separate tab with its own numbers:
3v3 · 2v2 · Solo Shuffle · Blitz · RBG
Features
Follows your spec — opens on whatever you are currently playing, and switches with you when you change spec mid-session.
All 40 specs — every class, including the new Devourer Demon Hunter. Browse any of them from the sidebar in class colours, not just your own.
Embellishments — which ones the top players of your spec are actually running, ranked by how many of them use it, with the crafted piece it usually sits on and a full item tooltip on hover.
Stat priority at a glance — the order, then the exact percentages and ratings behind it, with bars scaled so the shape of the build is obvious without reading numbers.
Sample size on screen — every panel shows the rating range the numbers were drawn from, so you can judge how much to trust them.
Movable, scalable window. Minimap button you can drag around the minimap. Escape closes it. Position and settings survive a reload.

About the data
The numbers are compiled from the highest-rated players of each spec across the US, EU, KR and TW regions, and shipped with the addon as a snapshot. The current one is Midnight Season 2, patch 12.1 — 190 spec and bracket combinations. The Info panel always tells you exactly which snapshot you are looking at and when it was captured.
This is a snapshot, not a live feed. Addons cannot make web requests, so the data is baked in at build time and refreshed with each release. If a patch has just landed and the addon has not been updated yet, the Info panel will show you an older capture date — trust that date over the numbers.
Some specs have no data, on purpose
Ten of the 200 possible spec and bracket combinations are missing, and all of them are tank specs or Augmentation Evoker in brackets where almost nobody plays them. There is no meaningful sample to draw from, so rather than invent numbers or show an empty panel, the addon says so plainly.
If your spec shows "no ladder data" for a bracket, that is not a bug. It means the ladder does not have enough of you to measure.
Feedback
First release under the Vortex name — this is a full rewrite of the old PvPCompanion, not an update. New data, new UI, live stat comparison, five brackets instead of a single static list.
Bug reports and corrections are very welcome in the comments. If a stat block looks wrong for your spec, mention the spec and bracket and I will check it against the next capture.
If you like it, my other addons are EnjoyPvPIcons, EnjoyArenaFrames, EnjoyLoseControl and EnjoyAttunement.
Support
This addon is free and always will be. I build and maintain it in my spare time.
If it helps you, consider buying me a coffee. Every contribution - no matter how small - buys more time for updates, new features and keeping things working after each patch.
