Void Horizon

A bullet-hell arcade shooter you play inside World of Warcraft. Type /vh to open it.

Void Horizon is a complete arcade game in a window over your UI: fly a fighter through waves of enemy ships and dense bullet patterns, beat each sector's boss, pick an upgrade and jump to the next sector. Your scores are shared with your guild and group, so you can compete with friends without leaving the game.

Game modes

• Endless: sectors of waves, each ending in a boss with its own barrages, an upgrade pick, then the jump to the next sector.
• Daily Challenge: today's seed, so everyone faces the same waves until the daily reset.
• Arcade: a 20-minute horde run. Kills drop XP, every level offers a new weapon, an upgrade or a passive, and weapons evolve. Eleven weapons, fifteen passives and four elite bosses.
• Daily Arcade: the same horde for everyone today.

Features

• Shared scoreboards for all four modes over guild and party/raid addon messages (friends need the addon too), with an optional line in guild chat when you set a new best.
• The hangar: fourteen hulls, each with its own signature weapon (piercing laser, scattergun, seeker missiles, drones, flamethrower, beam, mines, chain lightning and more), bought with salvage earned from your runs.
• The workshop: permanent upgrades such as reroll and destroy charges and small calibrations.
• The BLACK MARKET: sometimes the upgrade board offers a deal. Take a curse for two sectors and get paid when you clear them.
• Bombs, a one-hit shield, OVERCLOCK, wingmen, backup fighters and gold treasure runners.
• Your pilot talks you through the big moments, and a short FLIGHT CHECK teaches the controls the first time you play.
• Continue: put a run away (or log out) and pick it up later exactly where it stood.
• An original soundtrack and nine animated skies.

How to play

Type /vh to open the game. While the window is open it takes the keyboard.

Other commands: /vh help, /vh continue, /vh scores, /vh announce.

Turn on game music in WoW's sound options to hear the soundtrack.
