Description
VivisnaiUI
VivisnaiUI is a lightweight, modular UI addon built from scratch — no Blizzard Edit Mode, no third-party UI frameworks. It ships as a small base addon plus a set of optional submodules, so you only load what you actually use.
⚠️ Early alpha. VivisnaiUI is under active, fast-moving development. Features are still being added, reworked, and occasionally removed — expect things to change between updates.
Modules
| Addon | What it does |
|---|---|
| VivisnaiUI | Core framework: settings window, profiles, fonts, colors, borders, media, and the built-in Edit Mode overlay. Required by every submodule. |
| VivisnaiUI_UnitFrames | Custom unit frames. |
| VivisnaiUI_ResourceBars | A dedicated bar stack for health, power, and spec-specific resources (class power, runes, stagger, Ebon Might, absorb shields). |
| VivisnaiUI_GroupFrames | Party and raid frames. |
| VivisnaiUI_ActionBars | Action bars, stance bar, pet bar, extra action buttons, and vehicle-exit handling. |
Each submodule is a separate addon on CurseForge/in your AddOns folder and requires the base VivisnaiUI addon to run.
Highlights
- Custom Edit Mode — drag-and-drop positioning with a snap-to-grid overlay for every VivisnaiUI frame. Doesn't touch Blizzard's Edit Mode; automatically locks down and closes in combat.
- Spec-aware profiles — account-wide profiles that can be assigned per specialization, so switching specs can automatically switch your layout.
- Shareable profile strings — export/import a profile as a plain text string to back it up or share it with other players.
- Consistent look & feel — shared color, font, and border systems so every module matches, with per-module settings panels under one unified options window.
- Localization-ready — built with a locale system from the ground up (English and Spanish included).

Status & feedback
This project is in alpha: layouts, saved variables, and options may change without a migration path between versions. Bug reports and suggestions are welcome via the issue tracker/comments — they directly shape what gets built next.
