Vito's Cooldown Tracker

Vito's Cooldown Tracker is use for tracking major cooldowns and interrupts across your party or raid. Every member of your group needs the addon installed — when someone uses a tracked ability, it broadcasts to everyone else and appears on their display in real time.

The main window shows a live list of cooldowns grouped by player. Each spell row displays the spell name and either a green READY label when the spell is available, or a red countdown timer showing how long until it is back. Player name bars are coloured by class so you can identify members at a glance.

The window can be dragged anywhere on screen and resizes automatically as cooldowns appear and expire. When a player leaves your group their data is removed immediately, and when someone new joins the addon exchanges configurations automatically.

Setup

Before any cooldowns can be tracked you need to tell the addon which action bar slots hold your spells. Open the setup panel by clicking the * button on the main window title bar, or by typing /rcd config.

Adding a spell

1. Click the Action Bar Slot dropdown — it scans all 10 of your action bars and lists every slot that has a spell on it, labelled by bar name and spell name.

2. Select the slot your spell is on.

3. Type the cooldown in seconds into the Cooldown (seconds) box — use the base cooldown of the spell, for example Counterspell is 20 seconds.

4. Click Add Spell.

The spell will now always appear in the main window. Repeat for every ability you want tracked. Your configuration is saved permanently and will be there the next time you log in.

Removing a spell

The configured spells list at the bottom of the setup panel shows everything you have added. Click Remove next to any spell to delete it.

Notes

• Everyone in your group must have the addon installed and their spells configured for it to work fully — the addon cannot detect casts from players who do not have it.

• Use the base cooldown of the spell when adding it, not a talent-reduced value, unless you know your specific cooldown will always be the same.

• To find the exact cooldown of a spell, check its tooltip in your spellbook or look it up on Wowhead.
