🗑️ Vince's Trash Compactor: Operational Manual
Why this add-on? It is mostly useful for when you are cleaning up your bags, mostly for those items that do not have a monetary value. It will bypass the confirmation message and it saves time. That's basically it!
> To Toggle ON/OFF: Left-click with an empty cursor while your bags are opened.
> To Cycle Modes: Right-click at any time (bags closed or opened).
>>> Once the Compactor is ON, drag-and-drop items on the button for automatic deletion. You can also select the item (click-click), and bring it on the Compactor button, then click again to trash the item.
The "Double-Click" Safety: If you are holding an item, clicking the button will never toggle the Compactor button to ON; it will only attempt to delete.
The "Auto-Stop": If you close your bags, talk to a vendor, or hit ESC, the Compactor disarms itself instantly.
You can also drag and drop the button anywhere. Putting it just beside the bag you are working on makes it even faster to use.
The Quality Filter:
- Grey Only: Strictly for the lowest-tier junk.
- G/W: Crushes Grey and White items (this is the default, and it will reset to this on each logon).
- G/W/G: Allows crushing Grey, White, and Green items.
I basically created this addon for my wife, after seeing her do some house cleaning in the guild bank. I decided to release it on CurseForge, mainly to see how this is done. And you never know, someone may find it useful. Cheers!
