Changelog
v2.30.19
- New characters now start with a focused layout: each group shows a handful of a spec's most-used abilities and buffs instead of everything at once. The full list is still one click away in edit mode.
- Default layouts are now tuned per spec, so healers lead with their core healing toolkit and damage specs lead with their main rotation.
- Fixed: deleting all of a spec's groups now sticks instead of the defaults coming back after a reload.
v2.30.18
- Fixed: opening Blizzard's Edit Mode while Vigil was active could throw a Lua error.
- Fixed: removing the trinket display now sticks instead of reappearing after a reload.
- Improved: keybinds shown on ability icons abbreviate side mouse buttons (Mouse Button 5 appears as "M5") so long bindings no longer stretch across the icon.
v2.30.17
- Fixed: hero-talent buffs tracked only through Cooldown Manager (Voidfall, Mother of Chaos, and others) could disappear after a reload if Cooldown Manager's data finished loading after Vigil had already activated the spec. Saved placements rebuild themselves once the data is available.
v2.30.16
- Fixed: hero-talent buffs (Voidfall and others tracked only through Cooldown Manager) stopped appearing if Cooldown Manager was disabled or its Buff Icon or Buff Bar viewers were hidden in EditMode.
v2.30.15
- Fixed: switching into a role-forced specialization (for example, queueing into a follower dungeon as a different role) could briefly show two overlapping HUDs at once.
- Fixed: after a forced spec change, abilities could appear greyed out as unavailable until a UI reload.
- Added:
/vigil specdebugto report the active spec and flag leftover frames.
