Overview & Current State

Viet Craft brings the rich lore and storytelling of Azeroth to Vietnamese players by seamlessly replacing original in-game text with Vietnamese translations.

The addon is currently in its Alpha release. This build is designed to give the community an early hands-on preview of the core localization features while active development, testing, and expansion continue.

Features Offered

• Quest Localization (Nhiệm vụ): Replaces English quest dialogs, progression objectives, completion logs, and supplemental quest information with clear Vietnamese text.
• Gossip & NPC Interactions: Translates everyday dialogue options and lore interactions when talking to NPCs throughout Azeroth.
• Chat Bubbles (Bubble Chat): Translates overhead dialog balloons appearing above NPC heads during ambient encounters and scripted events.
• AI-Assisted Contextual Translation: Translations are processed and contextualized using modern translation and language modeling tools (including DeepL, ChatGPT, and Gemini) to ensure accurate tone, grammar, and game-specific terminology.

• Effortless Story Immersion: Removes language friction, allowing players to fully understand storylines, character motivations, and world-building lore without needing third-party translation apps or browser lookups.
• Streamlined Leveling & Progression: Clearly translated objectives make navigation and quest completion intuitive, reducing confusion regarding objective locations, special prerequisites, and completion criteria.
• Natural Dialogue Flow: By localizing overhead chat bubbles and NPC gossip directly in the native UI frames, players experience dynamic world events in their native language in real time without immersion-breaking layout shifts.

Because of the massive volume of in-game text across the expansions, ongoing proofreading and localization refining are community-driven. Viet Craft là addon Việt hóa cho World of Warcraft (Forever), hỗ trợ dịch trực tiếp các nội dung cốt lõi trong game như nhiệm vụ, hội thoại NPC và bong bóng chat sang tiếng Việt.

Tổng quan & Giai đoạn phát triển

Viet Craft được xây dựng nhằm giúp cộng đồng game thủ Việt Nam tiếp cận cốt truyện và thế giới Azeroth một cách tự nhiên và trọn vẹn nhất.

Addon hiện đang ở giai đoạn Alpha, tập trung vào việc thử nghiệm các tính năng cốt lõi và thu thập phản hồi từ người chơi trước khi mở rộng quy mô dịch thuật.

Tính năng chính

• Việt hóa nhiệm vụ (Quests): Dịch toàn bộ nội dung nhiệm vụ, mục tiêu cần thực hiện và hội thoại trả nhiệm vụ.
• Hội thoại NPC (Gossip): Dịch các đoạn đối thoại tương tác và tùy chọn trò chuyện khi nói chuyện với các NPC trên bản đồ.
• Bong bóng chat (Chat Bubbles): Tự động chuyển ngữ các bóng thoại xuất hiện trên đầu NPC khi họ đối thoại trực tiếp trong thế giới game.
• Dịch thuật tối ưu ngữ cảnh: Sử dụng các công cụ trí tuệ nhân tạo (DeepL, ChatGPT, Gemini) để tinh chỉnh câu từ, đảm bảo câu văn mượt mà và phù hợp với bối cảnh fantasy.

• Nắm bắt cốt truyện trọn vẹn: Giúp bạn hiểu sâu các sự kiện lịch sử, tính cách nhân vật mà không cần tốn thời gian tra cứu bên ngoài.

Khối lượng văn bản trong WoW rất lớn, vì vậy dự án luôn hoan nghênh các thành viên tham gia thử nghiệm bản Alpha, báo lỗi câu từ hoặc cùng đóng góp vào khâu hiệu đính, biên dịch trên Discord của nhóm.
