Description
Vide's Adventure Guide brings dungeon information, quest chains, zone progress, and suggested activities together in one journal, built around the familiar look and feel of World of Warcraft.
Whether you are preparing for a dungeon, following a long quest chain, or exploring a zone you have never finished, the guide helps you find your next step while keeping Azeroth at the center of the experience.
An addon should be an *add-on*
An addon should earn its name by adding to the game.
That idea is the foundation of Vide's Adventure Guide. Every new page should feel at home in World of Warcraft, with its familiar frames, fonts, textures, and visual language. Information should be easy to find, controls should feel familiar, and the interface should leave room for the world itself.
The goal is to support the experience Blizzard's art and interface have shaped: opening a journal, planning an expedition, discovering a quest, and setting out into Azeroth. You choose the adventure. The guide helps you prepare for it.
Find something worth doing
The Suggested Content page offers activities suited to your character:
- Level-appropriate dungeons to help you plan your next group adventure.
- Battleground guidance, including the current Forever battleground's level 30 requirement.
- Active calendar events when available through the game calendar.
- Profession suggestions when no event is active, encouraging you to develop your lowest-skilled profession.
Prepare for your next dungeon
Browse a dungeon catalog ordered by recommended level, then explore each dungeon's encounters, loot, and quests.
- Browse bosses and their associated drops.
- Filter loot by equipment slot and item quality.
- Review quest objectives, starting locations, prerequisites, and rewards.
- Follow ordered quest chains and their individual steps.
- Find class quests in their own category.
- Recognize other-faction quests through a separate category and desaturated artwork.
- See completion status and level requirements directly in the quest list.
Everything is presented through a journal interface using WoW's familiar visual style.
Loremaster: follow the connections
Explore 45 zones and cities across Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor from a single zone grid.
Inside each zone, quests appear as compact, connected trees. Branches and directional links make progression easier to follow, while completion checkmarks show how far you have come. Hover over a quest to read its objectives, and use scrolling or canvas dragging to explore larger chains.
Zone progress counts applicable, non-repeatable quests belonging to that zone. Related steps outside the zone can remain visible in a chain without inflating its completion total. Progress updates as your character's quest state changes.
Take the next step on the map
When a verified starting location is available, select a Loremaster quest node or use a dungeon quest's map action to locate its starting point on the world map.
Optional TomTom integration adds waypoint support for players who use it.
Made for Forever
Dungeon and quest content, with quest connections and starting locations based on documented data. Completion tracking uses the quest information available from the game client.
This release is designed for the World of Warcraft: Forever client. Its current content focuses on dungeons and zone quests; raid data is not included in this release.
More context for your adventures. More reasons to explore. An addon that feels at home in World of Warcraft.
