VescTools 0.23.0
What's new
VescTools 0.23.0
New
- Style "Blizzard (Low Impact)" (Options > Options): keeps the standard Blizzard interface and only adds VescTools extras on top: completed-quest XP as a bar on Blizzard's XP bar (quest list in a tooltip), tick marks on Blizzard's cast bar, DoT Kill Marker and quest progress on Blizzard's nameplates. Our own nameplates, breath bar and swing timer styling are turned off.
- Profiles (Options > Options): create named profiles, choose one per character, delete them, export and import them as text (e.g. to share). Replaces "Settings for this character only"; an existing character profile becomes the profile "Name - Realm".
- Ring:
- Several rings, each with its own key (ring editor: choose a ring, New/Rename/Delete; key per ring under Options > Ring).
- Sub-rings: put a ring as a slot into another ring; it opens when you hover it (also outside the ring in its direction) or press its hotkey.
- Lists: put a ring as a single slot; the mouse wheel scrolls through its spells, shown as a small circle.
- Open at mouse, Select by mouse direction (an arrow shows the direction, the slot lights up), Quickcast (release without a slot = last used slot or slot 1).
- Mouseless: mouse fully off, slots are cast with hotkeys; hotkeys per ring can be set freely (e.g. "Q,E,R,F").
- By default only the icons are shown; dark circle and dividers are an option.
- If OPie is active, the VescTools ring is off by default (with a notice), because both together can cause Lua errors on the action bars. You can turn it back on.
- Accent color per class (Options > Colors): every class gets its own accent color, the class color by default.
- Rogue: target count per poison type (under "Restock reagents"); the vendor buys the ingredients for the missing poisons, minus the ingredients already in your bags.
- Consumes window: add consumables by item ID; they are sorted in automatically (new groups Poison and Other). Right-click removes items you added yourself.
- Cast bar: width and height can be set (edit mode, click the cast bar); the 5-second bar and swing timer follow.
- Nameplates: health as percent, number, both or not at all (Options > Combat,
/vt plates hpmode pct|num|both|off). - Vendor: the trainer reserve can be turned off; the shopping budget then uses all your money.
Changes
- Options: vendor section in working order (repair, junk, budget + trainer reserve, reagents, ammo, food/drink); English labels reworded.
- Potion bar: each button shows the potion that restores the most health or mana; on a tie a pure healing/mana potion comes before a Rejuvenation Potion.
- Consumes bar: with several flasks of the same oil (or other items with charges), the started one with the fewest charges is used first.
Fixes
- Fixed an issue where "Make room" did not delete anything for quest items (sell value 0) if the item to delete was worth a few copper; quest items now always count as more valuable.
- Fixed an issue where dropdowns in the options were too narrow for long entries (e.g. "Mind-numbing Poison").
VescTools 0.23.0 (Deutsch)
Neu
/vt plates hpmode pct|num|both|off).
- Optionen: Händler-Block in Arbeitsreihenfolge (Reparieren, Schrott, Budget + Trainer-Rücklage, Reagenzien, Munition, Essen/Trinken); englische Bezeichnungen überarbeitet.
