# VaultSCAN v1.0.1 — Release Notes
**Less managing. More adventuring.**
VaultSCAN v1.0.1 improves the **Account Wealth Trend** experience by replacing mandatory daily Warband Bank verification prompts with passive collection, clearly labeled estimates, and an optional Warband Bank shortcut. Character tracking, wealth totals, item-level history, and playtime features from v1.0.0 remain available.
## What's New
### Passive Warband Bank Verification
- Removed the daily pop-up that interrupted gameplay when Warband Bank information was unavailable.
- Added quiet background verification attempts approximately every 90 seconds while the current day's bank data is unverified, plus checks after applicable game and bank events.
- Preserves the last verified Warband Bank balance when Warcraft does not expose a verifiable current balance.
- Never treats an untrusted, closed-bank reading as a newly verified balance.
### Verified and Estimated Wealth Snapshots
- Continues daily Account Wealth Trend history using **estimated** snapshots when a previously verified Warband Bank balance is available but cannot currently be reverified.
- Clearly distinguishes **Verified** and **Estimated** snapshots in the graph using filled and hollow markers and informative hover tooltips.
- When bank verification succeeds later the same day, upgrades that day's estimated snapshot to a verified observation. Previously verified historical entries remain unchanged.
- Preserves existing v1.0.0 wealth history and previously saved character information.
- If no Warband Bank balance has ever been verified, VaultSCAN does not invent a bank balance or an estimated account-wealth snapshot.
### Warband Bank Distance Inhibitor Shortcut
- Added a small optional spell shortcut beside **Account Wealth Trend** for the **Warband Bank Distance Inhibitor** (spell ID 460905).
- For characters with the ability unlocked, clicking the shortcut can summon a Warband Bank portal without traveling to a banker.
- VaultSCAN closes the dashboard after Warcraft confirms that the portal spell started, so the player can see the cast and interact with the bank.
- Displays informative states for unavailable abilities, cooldowns, combat restrictions, or unusable locations. Players without the ability can still use VaultSCAN normally.
### Clearer In-Game Guidance
- Added the instruction: **“Open your Warband Bank to update your snapshot”** beside the shortcut.
- Added a gold **information icon** containing an explanation of the Warcraft bank-data limitation and how to verify a snapshot optionally.
- Keeps the limitation explanation out of the graph's “Last snapshot” tooltip, so historical data remains easy to read.
- Updated footer wording to **“(last verified)”** for a saved bank balance and **“(estimated)”** for account wealth derived from unavailable bank data.
## How Daily Wealth Tracking Works
VaultSCAN records a daily account wealth observation from the latest saved character gold balances and available Warband Bank information.
- **Verified:** The Warband Bank balance was confirmed while Warcraft allowed it to be viewed.
- **Estimated:** The observation uses the last verified Warband Bank balance and each character's most recently saved gold. This is *not* a live account-wide balance.
- **Optional verification:** Players can open their Warband Bank whenever convenient. If today's observation was estimated, VaultSCAN can replace it with a verified observation once a valid bank reading is obtained.
Offline characters' gold reflects their last recorded values. Missing days are not backfilled, and historical snapshots are not a transaction ledger.
