Season 2 Weekly Planner Overhaul

Vault Focus 0.11.0 is a major update focused on one question:

What is the best Great Vault path for this character this week?

Instead of encouraging you to fill every Vault row, Vault Focus now compares Raid, Dungeons, and World activities and recommends one best path with the least unnecessary work.

One Best Path This Week

  • Added a single BEST PATH THIS WEEK recommendation for Raid, Dungeons, or World content.
  • Shows the minimum content needed to unlock the recommended first Vault reward.
  • Shows the expected Vault item level and upgrade track.
  • Highlights the strongest upgrade slots or items for your current character and selected loot specialization.
  • Gives a clear stop point once the recommended first Vault option is complete.
  • Removed the old competing pre-season and future-week recommendation language.

Smarter Raid and Dungeon Planning

  • Raid planning now considers the actual useful items available to your selected loot specialization.
  • Dungeon planning compares available difficulties instead of automatically telling you to run your maximum.
  • If an easier Mythic+ level earns the same first Vault reward as a harder key, Vault Focus recommends the easier option.
  • Heroic, Timewalking, Mythic 0, and Mythic+ planning are handled separately from the gear they directly drop.
  • Direct Dungeon upgrades can still be worth farming even when Dungeons are not your best weekly Vault path.

Better World Planning

World content has been cleaned up so Delves, Prey, Ritual Sites, and World Quest gear are easier to understand.

  • Delves now clearly use Delve tiers.
  • Prey is shown using Normal, Hard, and Nightmare difficulty.
  • Ritual Sites are compared using their matching weekly Vault tiers.
  • World Quest gear is treated as optional direct gear, not as a required weekly Vault activity.
  • World recommendations show one qualifying route instead of presenting a checklist of every possible activity.
  • World results now identify projected upgrade slots separately from exact Raid and Dungeon item candidates.
  • Outdoor, Prey, and Delve direct gear are labeled by their actual source type.

Better Upgrade Comparison

  • Hovering a recommended item now also shows what you currently have equipped for that slot.
  • Ring comparisons can show both equipped rings when appropriate.
  • Item tooltips retain Vault Focus upgrade information alongside Blizzard's normal item details.
  • Optional Pawn support uses the selected loot specialization when an exact item comparison is available.
  • Higher item level alone no longer automatically means an item is considered a better direct upgrade.
  • Cosmetic and other non-equippable rewards are excluded from upgrade recommendations.

Direct Upgrades

The Direct Upgrades view remains separate from weekly Vault planning.

Use it when you want to farm gear immediately without changing your recommended weekly Vault path.

  • Exact upgrade items are ranked by usefulness.
  • Source and difficulty are shown directly.
  • Item hovers compare against currently equipped gear.
  • Raid, Dungeon, Delve, Prey, and outdoor gear remain clearly separated by source.

By Slot Improvements

  • By Slot now follows the same weekly recommendation shown on the main screen.
  • Upgradeable slots are easier to identify at a glance.
  • Slots without a useful upgrade now show NO UPGRADE instead of the less clear HOLD label.
  • World paths distinguish projected slot improvements from exact item-table results.

Alt-Friendly Planning

Vault Focus continues to keep difficulty limits per character.

Your geared main can be configured for higher Raid or Mythic+ content without forcing the same settings onto a fresh level 90 alt.

UI Polish

  • Cleaner, more compact recommendation rows.
  • Improved World mode and difficulty controls.
  • Fixed World selector text overflow.
  • Clarified what World tier settings actually represent.
  • Improved Dungeon action wording.
  • Cleaner item comparison tooltips.
  • Simplified the in-game title to VAULT FOCUS.

The Goal

Vault Focus is designed to replace:

“I guess I should do Raid, Dungeons, Delves, Prey, Ritual Sites, and World Quests on every alt.”

with:

“On this character, do this path, unlock this first Vault reward, then stop unless you want additional choices or direct gear.”
