Vault Focus 0.3.17
Vault Focus has received a major planning and accuracy update designed to help players choose the most valuable Great Vault path before spending time completing weekly activities.
Great Vault Planning
- Compare Raid, Mythic+, and World/Delves for your current character.
- Recommendations account for your equipped gear, item level, loot specialization, selected activity level, useful gear slots, and potential upgrade size.
- Added clear recommendation states such as Clear Lead, Useful Edge, and Close Call.
- Close results now explain the tradeoff instead of implying that both rows must be completed.
- Added estimates for the selected number of weekly Vault choices.
Custom Activity Targets
- Select Raid Finder, Normal, Heroic, or Mythic Raid difficulty.
- Plan around 2, 4, or 6 Raid bosses.
- Select Heroic, Mythic 0, or Mythic+ key levels from +2 through +12.
- Plan around 1, 4, or 8 Dungeon runs.
- Select World Activities, Delves, Prey, or Ritual Sites.
- Select Delve tiers from Tier 1 through Tier 11.
- Plan around 2, 4, or 8 World-row activities.
Raid and Dungeon Accuracy
- Raid and Dungeon comparisons continue to use live, specialization-filtered Encounter Journal loot tables.
- Mythic+ comparisons use the selected preview key level.
- Results identify confident upgrade candidates, manual-review items, useful gear slots, and average potential item-level gains.
- Clarified that coverage percentages are not guaranteed drop chances.
World Activities and Delves
- Separated the Tier 8-capped weekly Great Vault model from live World Quest and Delve direct rewards.
- World Quest rewards are no longer mixed into the Delve results when Delves are selected.
- Added current-season Tier 11 Delve reward sources that can be viewed from a city.
- Live entrance data automatically replaces the season baseline when available.
- Delve reward-source data is cached for other characters on the account.
- Added clear source labels for Trovehunter’s Bounty, Bountiful Coffer, Bountiful Heavy Trunk, and other available reward sources.
- Reward containers are no longer incorrectly treated as exact equippable gear.
- Vault Focus does not fabricate the randomized item contents of Delve reward containers when Blizzard does not expose that loot list.
Interface Improvements
- Replaced rapid-click option cycling with visible dropdown menus.
- Added clearer target labels and resolved Auto selections.
- Improved stale-result warnings after changing planner options.
- Added Scan Selected Targets behavior.
- Improved card spacing, text placement, and source-row formatting.
- Prevented reward names and details from bleeding outside their cards.
- Removed broken dropdown glyphs and unnecessary equipment comparison tooltips.
- Added cleaner Great Vault badge, Full View, and item-source displays.
- Added a Copy Summary button for sharing weekly recommendations.
Fixes
- Fixed Delves appearing blank when supported modeled information was available.
- Fixed World Quest rewards being displayed as selected Delve rewards.
- Fixed invalid or unscaled World Quest item levels entering comparisons.
- Fixed Delve reward-source data requiring repeated travel and rescans.
- Fixed the Current Specialization lookup error.
- Fixed an addon startup failure caused by WoW Lua’s local-variable limit.
- Fixed stale planner percentages remaining visually active after target changes.
- Fixed text, progress-bar, tooltip, and Full View overlap issues.
Vault Focus is intended to help players decide which Great Vault row offers the strongest potential value for their current gear and loot specialization before committing time to weekly activities.
Raid and Dungeon rows use live specialization-filtered loot tables. The World and Delves weekly row remains a slot-based model because Blizzard does not expose one complete combined outdoor loot table. Delve reward containers show the live reward sources and preview levels Blizzard provides, but their randomized contained-item lists cannot be known before opening them.
