🧰 What is VaultBuddy?
VaultBuddy is the addon that stops you from logging into alts just to check the Great Vault.
It shows, in one place:
• Characters that have a Great Vault ready to collect
• Characters that will have a vault on the next weekly reset
Only characters where a vault is relevant are shown.
If no one has (or will have) a vault, there’s nothing to see — and nothing to worry about.
👀 At-a-glance visual awareness
VaultBuddy uses quiet, purely visual cues to keep you informed.
• The VaultBuddy chest icon flashes when another character has a vault ready
• When you log into a character with a vault available, the chest flashes and the addon background changes from yellow to green
• These cues prompt you to open the addon and instantly see who has loot waiting
No sounds.
No chat messages.
No interruptions.
Just a gentle nudge when it matters.
📋 Clear, focused list
Click the addon (or minimap icon) to open a simple list that shows:
• Characters with a vault ready now
• Characters that will have a vault next reset
If the list is empty, it means exactly what you think it means:
No vaults now, and none coming next reset.
⚙️ Simple, optional controls
VaultBuddy works out of the box, but includes a small options panel if you want control.
• Always Show – keep the addon visible at all times (otherwise it only appears when a character has or will have a vault)
• Hide in Combat – keep the UI out of the way during combat
• Show Pre-Reset – toggle whether characters who will have a vault next reset are shown
• The display can be moved and resized to fit your UI
You choose how visible VaultBuddy is — or let it quietly manage itself.
