Vanthe QoL
Quality of Life tools for World of Warcraft. Yes, this is yet another suite of QoL tools. These are items that I've found useful over the years from other addon suites that I either no longer use or no longer exist, so I've tried to recreate them into my own suite. Every feature is a module you can turn on or off, and everything lives in one settings window: type /vqol, find it under Options → AddOns, or right-click Vanthe QoL in the addons menu by the minimap.
🧰 Crafting Order Queue
An alternative to CraftSim's queue, built to be simple and light for when you just want to bang out patron, personal and guild orders. Open it with /oq, the Order Queue tab at the bottom of the Professions window, or the addons menu.
Finding orders
- Picks up whatever Blizzard's Crafting Orders tab shows, automatically, with no extra server requests. Scan orders fetches every order type you tick.
- One list: your queue on top, and every other order you can craft below it in a collapsible Available section.
- Queue all, or Queue profitable with an allowed loss you set. Running Queue profitable after Queue all swaps out the orders that don't make the cut.
- Queue first crafts queues one of every recipe that still gives its first-craft bonus, which is handy when leveling a profession.
Knowing what it's worth
- Profit for every order: commission minus the consortium cut, plus reward value, minus the mats you still need to buy.
- Reward values: tell it what Moxie, knowledge items and other patron rewards are worth to you.
- The required quality and how you'll reach it: with what you have, with concentration, with better mats, or not at all.
- A concentration column and footer total, shared out top to bottom so you know which orders you can actually afford. The footer also adds up the knowledge your queued rewards will give.
Crafting it
- One button per row walks you through Claim → Craft → Submit, colour-coded by step, with auto-submit after crafting.
- A Next button, keybind or action bar button runs the next step for you. Skip passes over an order, and Release gives back a claimed one.
- Recraft orders are supported.
- A built-in cast bar, so you can see a craft is going even when the window covers your own.
- Crafting buff reminder: shows whether your Ingenuity Phial and Enchanting's Shattered Essence are up. One click drinks the phial or shatters a mote, and it never touches your expensive reagents.
Buying the mats
- Builds an Auctionator shopping list of just what you're missing, which counts itself down as you buy.
- Remembers which vendors sell your reagents, keeps those off the AH list, and opens a vendor list with Buy / Buy all here when you're at the right vendor.
Queue recipes, too
- Under Track Recipe on any recipe: pick an amount and queue it with lowest-quality (R1) or best-quality (R2) mats. You see the cost, the quality you'd make and the concentration to go one rank higher, so you can choose between better mats and concentration.
- Queued recipes share the same list, shopping lists and Next button, with an editable Qty that counts down as you craft.
On Blizzard's order list
- Profit / Loss column (sortable), reward icons, and the reagents you supply, flagged red when you're short.
- Green rows when every reagent is provided, a red highlight when time is running out, first-craft and skill-up markers, and a warning when your weekly crafting-orders quest is missing.
Extras
- Tool Swap: assign a Resourcefulness, Multicraft, Ingenuity and Speed tool, and the right one is equipped as you browse recipes and orders.
- Moxie display next to Concentration.
- Heavy crafting mode: one click turns CraftSim on for big crafting sessions, and back off again when you're done.
📦 QuickOpen
A pulsing icon appears when you're carrying something worth using. Click it to use one.
- Profession knowledge items, found automatically, but only ones your professions can actually use.
- Treatises hide after you've studied one for the week, whether from the icon or your bags.
- Your own watch list of items and name keywords, with a drag-and-drop editor.
- Right-click to hide an item until the weekly reset.
⚡ Instant Catalyst
Adds a button to the Catalyst that converts the slotted item instantly, with no confirmation and no wait.
🧹 Cooldown Manager Clear
Clear Spells / Clear Buffs / Clear All buttons for Blizzard's Cooldown Manager, plus handy commands:
/cdttoggles the Cooldown Manager, and/cdt clearclears it from chat./edittoggles Edit Mode.
✨ Good to know
- Works in any client language. Items, buffs and recipes are matched by ID, and the remaining tooltip text is read in English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Korean and Chinese.
- Auctionator is recommended for prices and shopping lists. CraftSim is optional, for heavy crafting mode.
- Combat-safe: windows can't be opened in combat and close when combat starts, to stay out of the way of protected actions.
