UselessDKP and Casino

UselessDKP is a lightweight guild DKP management addon with built-in raid tools, loot bidding, automatic guild synchronization, alt/main support, Discord export, roll tracking, and a large fun mini-game playground using separate play chips.

The addon is designed for guilds that want a simple in-game DKP system without needing an external website or spreadsheet, while also adding a fun social layer for downtime, raid breaks, and guild events.

Loot Bidding System
UselessDKP includes a built-in loot bidding panel for raid loot distribution.

Officers can:
- Start a bidding session for an item
- Set a minimum bid
- Drag, drop, or Alt-click items into the loot field
- Track incoming raid bids automatically
- Prevent players from bidding more DKP than they have
- Select and award the winner
- Automatically subtract the winning DKP amount
- Announce the result to the raid

Raid members can bid by simply typing a number in raid chat while bidding is active.

Roll Tracker
The addon can track `/roll` results from system chat and display them in a sorted list.

Features:
- Automatically detects player rolls
- Shows highest and lowest roll
- Prevents duplicate roll entries
- Includes a clear button for a new roll round

Alt / Main Support
Officers can link alt characters to main characters.

When an alt spends or receives DKP, the addon can use the linked main character’s DKP value instead. This helps keep DKP clean for guilds where players often raid on alts.

Guild Sync
UselessDKP automatically syncs important addon data between guild members.

Synced data includes:
- DKP transactions
- Alt/main links
- Chip balances
- Chip transaction logs
- DKP resets
- Chip season resets

The addon also checks versions between guild members and warns if a newer addon version is detected.

Discord Export
Officers can export the current DKP standings into a clean Discord-friendly text format.

This is useful for posting DKP standings in a guild Discord channel after raids.

Whisper Command
Players can whisper:

`!dkp`

to receive their current DKP balance automatically.

Minimap Button
UselessDKP includes a movable minimap button.

- Left-click to open or close the addon
- Drag to reposition the button
- Tooltip shows your current DKP

Playground / Mini-Games (casino)

UselessDKP includes a large optional playground system with separate play chips.

Play chips are independent from DKP and are meant only for fun. They do not affect the real DKP system.

Players start with chips and can play a variety of mini-games directly inside the addon.

 How To Use

Open the addon with:

`/udkp`

or click the minimap button.

Recommended basic workflow:

1. Officers open UselessDKP with `/udkp`
2. Use the DKP list or Raid list to manage points
3. Use the Loot tab during raids to start item bidding
4. Players bid by typing a number in raid chat
5. Award the item through the addon
6. Export DKP standings to Discord if needed
7. Use the Playground tab for fun chip-based mini-games

Important Notes

- Play chips are separate from DKP.
- Mini-games are for fun only.
- No real money, external accounts, or external services are used.
- DKP data is stored locally and synchronized through guild addon messages.
- For best results, officers and active raiders should all use the addon.
- The addon is designed mainly for guild use.
