TruePace

TruePace is a minimal, configurable speedometer for Retail WoW that shows movement speed as a percentage and is built to work with both normal movement and Skyriding.

Visibility and position

• /truepace show — enable and show the display.
• /truepace hide — hide the display.
• /truepace lock — lock the frame in place.
• /truepace unlock — unlock the frame so it can be moved.
• /truepace idle — toggle hide-when-idle mode on or off.

Appearance

• /truepace size 28 — set the font size, with a valid range of 10 to 72.
• /truepace font arialn — switch to one of the built-in font options.
• /truepace color gold — use a named color preset.
• /truepace color 255 209 0 — use integer RGB input.
• /truepace color #FFD100 — use hex color input.

Update speed

• /truepace updatespeed low — set update speed to 10 Hz.
• /truepace updatespeed normal — set update speed to 20 Hz.
• /truepace updatespeed high — set update speed to 30 Hz.
• /truepace updatespeed ultra — set update speed to 60 Hz.
• /truepace updatespeed 60 — set a custom update speed from 5 to 144 Hz.

Notes

TruePace is intended to stay simple: one clean percentage readout with a few display options so it can fit into most UIs. It supports both everyday movement speed and Skyriding in the same display, while also allowing users to trade CPU usage for smoother updates with configurable update speed options.
