What's new
1.3.28
Fixed
- The whole classic pack rebuilt as stepped rotations - every class, TBC
Anniversary and Classic Era. The Ret Paladin bug fixed in 1.3.27 turned
out to be one symptom of a client-wide rule: on the Anniversary-generation
clients (which run the modern game engine), a macro line that fails on
cooldown silently skips any castsequence below it. An audit of every kit
found the same starvation all over the classic pack:
- Warrior: Sunder Armor never stacked in ANY Arms, Fury or Prot kit, and Battle Shout never recast in combat (the buff dropped for good after the opener).
- Prot Paladin: never sealed or judged at all.
- Rogue: the AoE button was dead for roughly 118 seconds out of every 120 (Blade Flurry's cooldown blocked the whole strike chain).
- Enhancement Shaman: the Flame/Earth Shock weave never fired under Stormstrike.
- Fire Mage: the Scorch stack never built in the raid kit.
- Warlock PvP: dots starved under Death Coil.
- Feral bears: Demoralizing Roar starved in AoE. Every affected kit is now a proper stepped rotation, the design proven by the Hunter and Ret Paladin fixes: one press = one step, every castsequence leads its own step so nothing can shadow it, execute abilities ride last, Battle Shout gets its own step, and long burst cooldowns sit where their cooldown can never block anything.
- Out-of-combat self-buffs actually auto-apply again. The [nocombat] buff sequences (Battle Shout, Blessing of Might, Righteous Fury and friends) were positioned where the same engine rule starved them; they now lead their kits, silently skipped in combat and firing on the first press out of combat.
- Seal deadlock protection. The Paladin seal-judge sequence now also resets on entering combat, so an expired seal can never park the button on an uncastable Judgement. Priest, Hunter, Druid cat, and all Retail / MoP kits were already clean. If you play a profile COPY of a built-in kit, hit the orange Resync tag in the editor to pull the fixes in.
