TrinketSage

Shows every raid trinket's S to D tier for your loot specialisation, right on the loot roll, before you click Need.
TrinketSage tells you whether a raid trinket is actually good for your spec, at the moment the roll appears.

When a trinket from the current raid drops, the roll frame gains a tier badge and a strip showing the tier for your loot specialisation (S, A, B, C or D), the tooltip carries the same verdict everywhere the item appears, and a soft confirmation asks before you Need something rated poorly for you. Hovering the loot roll results shows a tier letter beside each roller's name where it can be known for certain.

Commands

  • `/bis` lists every raid trinket ranked for your loot spec, with the boss that drops it and both raid and Mythic+ tiers where simmed.
  • `/bis specs` privately lists your group's broadcast loot specialisations.
  • `/bis nudge on|off` toggles the Need confirmation.
  • `/bis test <item>` and `/bis testnudge <item>` preview the displays for any trinket.
Where the tiers come from

Simulation data (bloodmallet) for simmed specs and curated tier lists (Icy Veins) for the rest, all healers included. Tiers are recomputed offline against published data and refreshed through the season; the data date is shown in `/bis`. The addon never guesses: a trinket with no published data for your spec shows nothing rather than a made-up letter.

What it does not do

No chat output anyone else can see, no damage meters, no sound or popup unless you click Need on a low-tier item. The only thing it transmits is your own loot spec to your own group over the hidden addon channel, so groupmates running TrinketSage can show accurate letters.
