TrigsGearSwapper automatically swaps your gear sets based on your active talent specialization, saving you the hassle of manual equipment switching. Assign specific gear sets to your primary and secondary specs using a simple and intuitive configuration frame accessible from the minimap button. The addon supports auto-equipping on spec change, with the option to toggle this behavior on or off. Easily manage your gear assignments with slash commands or through the UI. The minimap icon provides quick access to the config, and right-click toggles auto-equip functionality. Perfect for players who want seamless and reliable gear swapping tailored to their playstyle.
How to Use TrigsGearSwapper
1. Assign Gear Sets:
Click the minimap icon (left-click) to open the configuration window.
Use the buttons labeled "Assign Gear Set to Primary Spec" or "Assign Gear Set to Secondary Spec" to enter the exact name of the gear set you want to equip for each spec.
You can also assign gear sets via slash commands:
/tgs 1 [setname] — Assign or equip gear set for your Primary Spec.
/tgs 2 [setname] — Assign or equip gear set for your Secondary Spec.
2. Auto Equip:
Auto equip is enabled by default. When you change your talent spec, your assigned gear set will equip automatically.
To toggle auto equip on or off, either:
1. Right-click the minimap icon.
2. Use the slash command /tgs toggle.
3. Equip Manually:
To manually equip a gear set without switching specs, use the slash commands without a set name:
/tgs 1 — Equip the gear set assigned to your Primary Spec.
/tgs 2 — Equip the gear set assigned to your Secondary Spec.
4. Minimizing the Minimap Button:
If you want to hide the minimap button, use the slash command /tgs minimap.
Use the command again to show the button.
This is my first addon. I hope it is useful for others.
Shoutout to my assistant ChatGPT who was key in the development of this addon.
